In the future, if you are going to demo something, do it. You realize anyone can say "I'm not going to really deflate it, but you would do it like this". Useless video!

I've been watching a lot of your videos lately along with several others. I came across one where the gentleman said he thought his 94" inflatable square hot tub looked smaller than he thought. He said he took a tape measure to it and he found it did measure 94" "DIAGONALLY" 🙁. Like measuring a flat screen TV! Is this what you have found as well or did he just get a smaller one delivered by accident and it just so happens to measure that way diagonally. I'd hate to pay a premium for one and find out it's not the dimensions I thought. Thanks.
@TubTalkReviews
@TubTalkReviews 2 дня назад
We are taking the average surface area of the tub with the dimensions on the websites. Generally, the surface area will be the diagonal measurement unless it says 94" x 94", which we usually try to add in the graphics or descriptions. Let us know if that is helpful at all! We'd be glad to share all measurements we have and know!!!
@kentuckyleisure4289

@@TubTalkReviews Alright, thank you. Maybe in future videos you could pull out a tape measure just to see if the manufacturer is being honest and call them out on it if not. We already know they're not the most honest when they describe a tub for 4-6 when 4 people are too many. Actually, inside dimensions would be even better for us consumers out here. Once again. Thanks.

Theoretically, yes. We just advise to NOT use an extension cord and be very careful with how long the heater is on. It shouldn't be on for any longer than an hour and you should take the same precautions as you'd take with an outdoor inflatable hot tub.

Thank you for the video. We purchased this model and love it! But we do not know HOW to drain the water from it. Do you have a video with instructions on how to drain this model? We are wanting to use a water hose to drain it. Hi! I’m looking at getting this model. However I get super confused cause i want this intex with salt water but I want the hydro jets too. Does this one have it? It’s hard to differentiate them on online stores
@TubTalkReviews
@TubTalkReviews 14 дней назад
So, they did rebrand the original PureSpa Plus, it is now known as the Greystone Deluxe: amzn.to/4dAxXAI and it does not have hydrojets. It does not seem that the comparable tubs in this line have the hydrojets at all. We loved this tub particularly because even though there are fewer jets, we found it to be most relaxing and comparable to traditional hot tubs.

I like the idea of the insulated cover but it's really bulky and quite heavy. I can put it on and take it off but my wife and the kids would struggle with it. They did apparently sell that that same model with a different cover but have discontinued it. It's super frustrating because the hot tub even has the buckles to attach the smaller cover. I would like to use the smaller cover most of the time and only use the insulated cover when it's super cold. I have the slightly smaller 4 person and the cover I'm referring to is Intex PN 13107
@TubTalkReviews
@TubTalkReviews 14 дней назад
We don't normally look into replacement covers, we do also dislike the cover for the Intex PureSpa Greystone Deluxe (formerly PureSpa Plus) and have noticed it definitely needs some work. We went ahead and did some research, it seems that this cover may work best for the 4-person: amzn.to/3MhIkxt Definitely check it out to see if this would work for you and your model, it seems that it should fit the model based on the dimensions. It also is supposed to weigh under 5lbs so hopefully that is a better solution. It's an insulated cover too :)
@TofuInc
@TofuInc 14 дней назад
@@TubTalkReviews Yeah that the inner cover that sets directly on the water. Ours came with that. It the exterior cover, it the same setup as the one it the video. The intex PN I listed in the comment it basically a rain cover that goes over the inflatable cover in place of the insulated cover. It uses the buckles that are on the hot tub. If you do an image search you will see what I'm talking about.

@TubTalkReviews - do the hydro jets cause the tub to cool off as bad as when you run the air jets? Im considering this tub as I want to use in winter time and coleman I used to have would last maybe 20 minutes tops if you use the air jets due to them pumping ice cold air into the tub. Do you have any advice in regards to putting this inside? I’ve been told that it’s not a good idea due to the weight and moisture but many reputable hot tub websites say that it can be done on the first floor with an exhaust fan and dehumidifier to draw out the moisture. This being the saltwater model I would think it wouldn’t have the typically strong chlorine smell either. Wondering what your take on this is
@TubTalkReviews
@TubTalkReviews Месяц назад
We haven't really put any of our tubs inside because of splash radius, flooding risk, etc. and we don't fully recommend it, however, it's not impossible. An insulation/absorption mat, fans, and dehumidifiers to draw out the moisture is the best way to go. Make sure wherever you put it, you have space for any splashing water and a way to drain and fill the tub without flooding the room. With the Intex PureSpa Greystone Deluxe (formerly PureSpa Plus), the salt converts to chlorine. It smells less chemically but will still have a faint chlorine smell.

A little more science would be helpful: 1. Starting temperature. 2. Time immersed. 3. Ending temperature. Advanced science: 1-3 without appliance for comparison. It is clear that you are using it as an additive to the portable's heater, but understanding the actual impact of the immersion heater is not at all clear. Saying it cut the time by 6-7 hours is only helpful understanding my previous suggestion of science 1-3.
@TubTalkReviews
@TubTalkReviews Месяц назад
We're sorry to hear this review was confusing for you. The starting temperature is without being heated up in general (this depends on your outside temperature at that point). All hot tubs, especially inflatable hot tubs, take some time to warm up for quite a few hours. This, however, depends on the tub but they all are around 12-24 hours. Whichever hot tub you have chosen, this will cut down 6-7 hours of that specific time. We have multiple reviews of many popular inflatable hot tubs on the market where we state how long the heat-up time takes and this accessory can be used to shave that time. The water heater stays in the tub until you want to turn off the heat.

For Relxtime, it seems the trade off for being built into the hot tub itself is that it can't heat and use the jets at the same time. It seems like most other hot tubs can do both at the same time which would be more beneficial in cooler weather. Is this true? It seems really hard to find this information, they don't list these things specifically online from what I can tell. Great video!!
@TubTalkReviews
@TubTalkReviews 2 месяца назад
I don’t remember that being a thing, but we just got another one and I will test it out. Either way, this doesn’t make a big difference. When the bubbles are on the hot tub starts cooling off so much that the little bit of heating really won’t make a difference. The hot tub is it going to cool down no matter what when you turn the Jets on because it draws air from the outside. The heaters on these things are not incredibly strong to begin with. So truthfully, the difference will be minuscule, if noticeable at all.
