No, it’s technically on the bottom the spout just kinda points upwards a little bit, you may have to put the hot tub on its side when it gets to the bottom to get rid of the remaining water, but it’s really not that heavy. And if that’s not an option, you could use something like a pump or vacuum to get the rest out. Draining it should get like 98-99% of the water out.
I have had mine for a year now and the actual hot tub never seems to get holes. It’s very durable. The blow up lid under the top cover. Not so much. Gets holes a lot. I patch with clear glue or shoe goo
