Hello there, I plan on using the music plan for my star wars edits and background music for Star Wars edits like fan trailers and tributes and talking videos. Do you recommend artist for that?
Thank u for not using 'without further ado', 'let's dive in', & for original intro. Refreshing. Also 100% true that scrolling through Envato causes severe brain meltdown. You missed Wordpress themes, which is one of their main categories. In this category, 80% of themes are pretty bad, but the other 20% are superb. Shame about the sound section tho.
Thanks! Motion array has decent footage. You’ll find a lot of the same videos as artlist max because the two sites are owned by the same parent company. Envato elements also has a lot of stock footage but the quality there is lower than artlist. :) Hope this helps!
Hey, thanks! Unfortunately none of these services allow you to use their music as stand-alone content on a music listening channel. Your best bet would be to build relationships with small artists via soundcloud and get permission to repost their content, or use an Ai music generator
After trying it through it's development, I must chime in that the credit-based results of it's AI services (TTS, footage, music) within Filmora are just too artifact-laden and simplistic. It doesn't justify the price. You'd get pretty much a better quality from a 3rd party. The Ai-masking is okay for inanimate things though.
Thank you for this honest review. I was this close to purchasing V13, but now I will hold off and look for a better option. I like Resolve, but I believe the learning curve is quite steep.
Can I use artlist for animal videos as well? because i did it with soundstripe, and soundstripe subscription has made me a copyright request and remove my videos.
this video is amazing!, came from your Zhiyun g300 video, glad i clicked on it!, I just started a tech channel as well aside from this travel vlogging channel, @marksandovalfilms fairly new only have two videos in there, Will subscribed as love your delivery and style :) Mark
Hi Joseph! THanks so much for all the info. I have this channel and a gaming youtube channel. How would that work if I wanted to cheapest option? Thanks!
The cheapest option would be to opt for Artlist’s Pro plan. It provides clearance for up to 3 youtube channels (directly linked) and is cheaper than Epidemic sound’s Commercial plan. :)
@@JosephMartin Thanks so much. High quality videos are great and i know how mch work it takes. I htought I read that artlist changed some TOS and that it has messed up simple stuff for content creators as far as copyright material?
I love the Rode Mic Plus. I directed 30 short films and two documentary feature films with my canon 5d mark 3 camera on this mic. been selected for over 270+ festivals and won over 55 awards. if you are an indie filmmaker, it's a great investment and time saver in indie filmmaking.
Nice review. The Standard Plan notes there is a "Riverside watermark on all your things" and the voice over notes it's removed on this plan. Do you know which is accurate? 05:34
Good catch! Looks like they've got a typo on their website. The standard plan removes the watermark. I'll let my contact at the company know they've got a typo! Thanks Mike :)
@@JosephMartin Thanks. Not trying to be a pain, I was just curious because I was about to reactivate my account and noticed that... It used to say "No watermark...." and it was recently switched at some point. I'm curious if it is a typo, as well. I reached out, as well, but haven't gotten a response.
This one is still pretty new and I’m not sure exactly how much better it can get, so I’d say this is a pretty safe buy! I imagine they’re have an updated version released sometime in 2025
Thank Joseph for such a DETAILED review. You answer most of the questions I have regarding this software. They are: the difference between perpetual license vs subscription plans, Assets subscription plan, and AI features, AI tokens. I appreciate your HONESTY when you say its AI feature are unusable. I believe it’s good for beginner editors & RU-vidrs for 2 YEARS ONLY based on its price & features. After that, it’s better for its users to switch to Davinci Resolve for 2 reasons. First, Davinci Resolve has both FREE version without watermark and professional version for $295. And it’s a LIFE TIME license! I have seen people bought Davinci Resolve v15 four years ago and they have updated it each year for FREE since then. Right now they are using version 19. NO other professional app can BEAT this price. Second, You can do everything with your video using this app like video editing, special effects, and sound editing. Its AI features do NOT HAVE TOKENS. In other words, you can use its AI features as much as you want without paying extra money!. Some Hollywood movies use its Color Grading features. It has 2 downsides though. They are: It requires a powerful computer and it has a steep learning curve like Premiere Pro.

Very detailed and very helpful video! 😊 If someone has an active artlist subscription, then to be able to use for free in multiple channels across any platform, it means all of them must be linked to the same email address?
