Running my new 16 way box wedge, and after close to 60 hours of splitting, had my first true jam up, had someone hold a pre split chunk infront of the blockage, and it came right! I couldn’t be happier!
I agree Auto cycle is the ticket to speed when splitting. I have a 12-22 and I cannot believe how fast I can process a bush cord of wood. These splitters are awesome.
G'day Andrew, I put my boot up on the nasty blocks then when they let go the other half flys across the yard I work alone when I'm splitting. When I'm in Ontario in summer I've noticed with all the fresh water lakes it certainly makes it steamy 👍.
One of the OG Eastonmades here may not have all the bells and whistles of that 37D but the log cradle it sure does. Still one of the best purchases I have made for my home, yearly firewood is quick to split! Only regret is never getting a conveyor way back because getting the wood away from it and into a trailer or wagon is the time consuming tedious part by far.
Andrew, Buckin Billy told us how you gave him a splitter with no expectations other than to help someone. Thanks, that was very kind and I just wanted to recognize your gift.
I've owned a Wolfe Ridge 35C for two years now and I couldn't agree with you more, Andrew. I wish that my machine has that cradle every time I see one of your splitters. If I ever change machines, it will be to a 37d, specifically for the cradle. Other than that I love my splitter.
Great Video ! These are the best machines on the Market ! the cradle is def the heart of the machine I say that to myself every time I use it . The design is well thought out and second to none , One of the best investments I ever made ,
Fast machine. Cradle is a must. Ive noticed on other top quality spitters that they have to hold the 36” diameter or bigger round to keep it centred, and even by hold it, it still moves of centre. Could the beam and push ram be made into a small V so all size wood gets centred ? Great video. 👋👍🏻
What size ring could you run through that 37D i like the machine the only sticking point for me is i deal with BIG timber between 26 and 42inch and above so need something that can deal with it. Love the videos and your products!!..👍
you could change the splitter ram auto cycle to a 1 lever operation by putting a steel block on the return lever to move return lever forward with the operation of splitting handle and return cycle will stay forward to return cylinder.
Hey Andrew, I've had my 22-28 for 2 weeks now and made my first Eastonmade video 10 days ago. Only had it for three days and mentioned the log cradle as one of the main reasons for choosing Eastonmade. Everything was more than I expected. The Galtech valves are a thing of beauty. Managed to do 1/3 cord in 5:43 (solo) and can honestly say I felt familiar with the machine quickly from watching your videos and the other great channels. Many Thanks!
That 37D doesn't labour at all pushing those rounds through unlike the competitors' machines...at the end of the day, it means a ton more wood through the wedge. Great job!!!
Was picking up wood today from my buddy that has the 37 d and we was thinking it’s time to go play with that again . They sure are a heavy of a machine .
When I made my decision to buy a commercial grade splitter and after seeing in person all the different designs at the Bunyan show the 5-11 was my choice . Absolutely happy 👍👌🇺🇸🇨🇦💪
