The squeeze on living standards is not over, as he puts it. Inflation costs are baked in permanently, with pay rises not matching them, so every working class person is in fact worse off than pre covid. My pay and skills have gone up in the past 20yrs, yet i'm still poorer than i was then, pound for pound.
I don't want to vote Rishi but I have to vote anyone cutting the tax. I would rather to have money in my pocket so i can pay the doctors treat me instead of government wasting in NHS. What's the difference? With the money, I get access to doctors all over the world. With gov spending my money on NHS, no choice left.
Are you really saying that the few quid you save on tax you're investing to help you pay for healthcare you might need in the future?! There's no logical sense to that.
@eskimo4130 depending on the pay scale. For so much money I pay for NHS with no access to even basic dentist, i just want my money back! I don't want to pay more for it. So ~~~ cut cut cut tax

when I bought the house council tax was £145 a month now it's £197 in just few years... you did not labour. everything got expensive... again not labour. you. and the inflation problem bank of England is fixing it not you. stop taking created.
Hunt and Sun-ak47 sucked money out of the Economy with higher Energy prices and the +75% Energy windfall tax; a PONZI scheme that delivered funds via stealth. This implemented a stealth austerity for all draining liquidity from the UK Economy and by channelling funds directly to the treasury, thus enabling a reversal of the NI tax hikes that originally Sun-ak47 instigated. This is the only source of revenue covering all decreases in UK tax rates. It will be short lived as Ofgem can't keep Energy prices based on wholesale Gas which has reduced by 75% and Oil production that is lower than 2014 i.e. there is no windfall for energy companies - so why a windfall tax - are they broke?

He sounds such a caring sharing lovey now pity he didn't respond like that to Post Masters who were being unjustifiably victimised, no one should get a second chance after behaviour like that. Just another narcissistic politician, Reform is the only party worth a vote.
Inflation may have come down, but the prices are still going up, by 2%. We can not afford to both eat and heat. Saying Inflation is down means nothing as prices are still going up. even if Inflation was at 0% I am guessing it would take around 10 years at that rate until we could manage to live again without having to make that daily choice. There is nothing that Rishi or Kier can say anymore that I actually take notice of, let alone believe.
