Why don’t the people in western governments buy these toy battery cars for themselves if they want them, but let everyone else continue to buy proper cars?
If there was a government position of Minister for Common Sense, Simon would be a certainty for the job! Unfortunately there is no chance of there being anything like that role in the current western countries.
didnt know u watched serpentza thats cool but yea hes been warning about this for years and im glad america banned chinas evs from the get go while the rest of the world took along time to ban them
Can't wait for Tesla to perfect their self driving tech so govts can ban people from driving once and for all. Too many idiots that can't drive. Then they come here trashing EV while knowing nothing about EVs eventho they have free access to everything they every want to know about EV and everything else humanity has ever created in the palm of their hand.
Buying Chinese is a gambol as quality control is a joke. I avoid Communist products as I hate Communism. Some people have no issue with supporting a vile regime that's no different from the Nazi's. My conscience is clear.
LFP batteries do not chatch on fire and there life span is much longer than NMC batteries. Geely is a nice brand with decent quality. This video is just a one sided view, competely overdue and not objective.
"Engineer and Lawyer now turned...RU-vidr..." How did you travel THAT road? I can understand giving up being a lawyer but giving up being an Engineer and ending up as a RU-vidr? That's got to be quite the tale.
Chinese owners of Chinese EV's have made videos about how flimsy the rear suspension is. Not to mention the videos of all the EV fires occurring in China.
*The wisest thing that should be on everyone's mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that don't depend on the government. Especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a good time to invest in gold, silver, and digital currencies (BTC, ETH...)..*
I began investing in stocks and Def earlier this year, and it is the best choice l've ever made. My portfolio is rounding up to almost a million and I have realized that when a stock makes it to the news, chances are you're quite late to the party, the idea is to get in early on blue chips before it becomes public. There are lots of life changing opportunities in the market, and maximize it.
They about to attempt to FLOOD the Australian Market. They have to be Stopped. They are Talking about Security now. This Govt has covered our rooves and paddocks with Solar panels from china.
The UK has 32 million cars and LGVs with 2 million new vehicles being purchased every year. Thus it will take 16 yrs to replace the current fleet irrespective of whether they are ICE, hybrids or EVs. We only have 11 years - even if every new car was an EV from today we'd be 5 yr late. Never going to happen. All utter BS and for what? Cars only contribute 10% or less CO2 to the UK pollution bill. Best turn off industry and the oven at home its the only way it will be done or go 70% nuclear, like the French.
Not sure how you're supposed to go light on the accelerator, they don't coast if you take your foot off. It's more like a dimmer switch than an accelerator.
Once upon a time... kids would rig a spark plug in the exhaust mear rge tip, kill the engine in gear while moving, and light off the fuel on the way out. Stupid, but fun. Burning down car parks [as EV's apparently have a knack for]? No, thats not fun or funny at all: its stupid on steroids.
I like MGUY's reports on EV fires....but the fact is that ICE cars are 80 times more likely to catch fire than an EV....so where are MGUY's videos on the hundreds of ICE cars that catch fire every day? Reporting ICE car fires would be like reporting that the sun comes up in the east every morning....no one is interested as they are so common that they are not worth mentioning...but an EV fire is headline news....keep up the good work MGUY.
Rumour is going: Porsche has thousands of "used" Taycans in their 2nd hand stock which cannot be sold at the price they want so instead of lowering the price they rather opt to scrap them - very eco friendly! 🤦♂🙊🤡 Same with the BMW i3 "2nd hand market". And I guess the entire EV industry doesn't like the 2nd hand market whatsoever - forget the eco fasade, the only thing that counts is profit. Similarly, VW sells their EVs at about a third of the German price in China - but when a dealer reimports the cheaper ones and pays import taxes and still got them "sold" to customers, VW drags him to court which orders them to be scrapped too - how green is Germany and its "industry leaders" really?!?!?
i am just curious. how many of the commenters on this channel, have even been in a tesla,? i am betting only 25% of the professional ev haters on here, have not. FUD! Drive one. you will never go back to the wasted money and expense, including servicing of ice cars. don't be afraid of the future.
This guy will never stop demonizing EVs.. Fossil fuel vehicles is destroying the world is none of his concern. My next car will be BYD with Blade Battery tech or a Suzuki with Blade Battery or MG with prismatic or blade.
Mossad have shown that sabotaging a simple electronic device and detonating it remotely can be an effective weapon. Crucially, Mossad had access to those devices and implanted batteries laced with high explosive. Your electronic devices and everyone else's devices have not been sabotaged in such a way by Mossad or anyone else. Therefore your phone, EV, camera, laptop cannot be detonated remotely. Maybe a software hack could be implanted remotely to make the battery overheat and catch fire. This seems plausible. It hasn't happened yet, so it must be difficult to do.
Our Labour government are letting hords of Chinese made EV's into Australia because Labour is great mates with China and has been since the Rudd days. We are being set up for when China takes over.
Here's an obvious joke: "Three reasons why Chinese EVs are a disaster: Made In China" That being said, I have quite a bit of stuff made in China, and it runs the gamut between basic hand tools to electronic devices. I don't hate on China's entire manufacturing base, even if I may dislike certain workplace standards (or lack thereof) or certain factories' safety standards (or lack thereof) or the rights of the workers (or lack thereof). Chinese products are a part of life, but it behooves us to actively decide which products we allow, and for governmental intervention (as much as my Inner Libertarian cringes at governmental involvement) to insure the products we're buying are not an inherent risk - whether that be personal safety, data collection, ability to be randomly bricked by the CCP, whatever. 2:25 - HOLY CRAP. That is probably the first thing I've heard Gina Raimondo say that I actually agree with. She's lucky Biden snatched her up, or she would have gotten her butt kicked at re-election time as Governor of Rhode Island. She destroyed their economy and dictated all of Connecticut Governor Ned -Flanders- Lamont's silly decisions regarding the pandemic.
Head line 3PM WEDNSDAY -The United States has moved to ban a huge array of Chinese-made cars over fears they can spy on - and assassinate - their drivers.
Given what happened over the last few years with China and supply chains, I can't understand why anyone would buy a Chinese car. They are very new to the game, the quality is poor and they'll stop at nothing to make a buck.
