Hi I'm Anna I am a 21 year old college student who is obsessed with crocheting amigurumi! I have been crocheting since the winter of 2019!
I first started my business journey when I created an instagram account @miss.a.crochet in June of 2022, a couple months later I opened my Etsy shop missacrochetshop and now I am on youtube!
On this channel I share crochet tips, tutorials, hauls, processes, patterns, my business experiences, and more to give you something to listen to while you crochet!
I have shirts with a small logo on the front like pocket area, and then a large full logo on the back and I LOVE them. I feel so professional at events when I wear them 😂
😅 0:52 I feel you. I feel so stupid I am seam ripping a bag which I sew the zipper wrong. I was almost finished. My mum threatened me to sew her a bag due tomorrow
How much yarn did you use for the big boy at the beginning? I’m thinking about making it in chunky yarn (I’m almost done with the pattern in worsted weight yarn) but I don’t know how much yarn I need since I’m not used to crocheting with chunky yarn. Thank you for inspiring me to make my new whale shark friend :)
@@Turtleboiiii I think I used 7 white skeins, 5 blue, and 1 pink! Once you finish your worsted weight one dm me a pic of it on insta, I would love to see it!

Great haul! I opened up my Temu orders along with you...there might have been some yarn! I have used the "Ice" yarn in combination with Bernat blanket and I have been very happy with it.
@@abbieliz396, okay, now I understand what you meant😂. Yes, we all have iPads, cellphones etc. and they are made in China😂. Like I said, everything is made in China.

Everything, even in our local craft stores are supplied from China. It’s a sad fact. I understand your concern, some of their yarn is sourced from the same country (Turkey) as our yarn in our stores. I don’t buy yarn from them as I try to support our own stores in my country so they are there in the future. But…Michael’s, for example, really needs to be a bit more competitive for those folks who can’t afford their prices. The charms and beads are outrageous compared to Temu. Just remember this young lady is just that, very young, who can be swayed by a free offer from Temu. Maybe instead of leaving her channel, you should give her a little grace and maybe just express your reasons why not to support Temu and Aliexpress etc.
@@jackieschneider7354There’s way too much about Temu specifically as a company, it’s not just about it being from China. They steal peoples credit card information. They advertise way too much to people who don’t buy from them. They have taken over every search engine, could afford to advertised during the Super Bowl multiple times while selling the cheapest stuff on the market. They’re a fairly new company and it’s scary how fast they took over. There’s so much more, that’s not even the working conditions, the pay of the workers, the age of them, that is the worst part. Then there’s the amount of useless junk they sell that breaks quickly. It’s overconsumption on steroids. Literally nothing good for anyone involved. And this isn’t just a “I bought Temu so you don’t have to”, she’s actually sponsored by Temu or she wouldn’t have the links. This is not an honest review. I do not and will not support creators who support TikTok. I don’t care who they are as a creator. That is a boundary I have and you cannot and should not try to convince me otherwise. If you say anything else I will not respond. I’m turning notifications off so I will promise you I won’t see it.
I don’t support Temu, but Anna does address that here. 14:57 and I don’t want to yank support from a creator just because they support something I don’t. Like I don’t shop at Hobby Lobby anymore but I get why others would. Totally understand where you are coming from but I agree with the other reply
😂 I feel you with the pattern releasing. I have 2 turtle patterns that I designed myself, and I always worry about publishing them... but they're so cute!! And pen and paper are still my go-to as well 😂
Can i just say: i agree with everything you’ve said. my turtles eyes always come out messed up, my hooks break, i have terrible days also where im in a funk & i can’t seem to find the reason why but nothing is going my way. youtube crocheters always show us the aesthetic version of things but i love this super realistic vlog. please keep posting & i hope you get better❤ xoxo nicki
I like watching your videos, and follow what you make. Since you are searching crochet-vlogs to watch, - how about trying my videos? I wonder if you would find my voice annoying ;-) hehe... I actually gave you a shoutout in my 50th vlog, - I made"my favorite crochet-vlogs". It was so difficult to chose only 10, so I showed almost all the channels that I like. I am old though 😉
