I don’t buy it. The wires are bare where they go into the solenoid. If oil conductivity was an issue, the wires on the solenoid would short out from the get go.
I have a commins engine in a 2010 school bus, it will run great and then all of a sudden just shut off, at first it would crank back and run for a week or so no problems, now it won't crank, but every now and then and run for a few minutes. when it cranks now I'[m scared to drive it because it cost so much to tow it if it stops. New fuel filters, filters were full of fuel.
I’ve got a mechanical L10 Cummins in a 1985 international. I changed the little filter/strainer and gasket under the slotted cone on top of it. I removed the solenoid to get it off. Put it back together and it won’t start. Put on a new fuel filter and made sure it was full. Do I need to prime the system? Did the fuel pump randomly go out?
What about a cummins nh250trx how different is this to them motors because I got one on a tub grinder that hasent ran in a few years and I'm having problems getting it running and can't find anyone near me that can help me solve this. Pump shutoff volts is at 12volts and it does have fuel coming out the intake and return fuel lines. Cummings motors are not my area international motors are so looking for help here thanks
Terry, it is very kind of you ,offering your knowledge and service but,,, how do I pay for it?,,, do u have a PayPal account or other?,, thanks and enjoy the Christmas holidays
Arturo, you are very kind to offer. But it's 100% free, my dad, Terry wanted to share his knowledge on this subject never taking a dime for it. Unfortunately, Terry passed away earlier this year in 2021. The loss is profound. He is so greatly missed and I get calls all day some day of people hoping to talk to Terry. Even in my dad's passing, amazingly his legacy of video tech support continues to live on as his videos continue to help others time and time again. Arturo, we sell parts, that's how he paid his bills and he has passed his life's torch to his daughter (me) and the most incredible thing is that his business and all the good he poured into this world takes care of us (his family and humanity) even after his passing. My father was a one of a kind. He just wanted to help all those he could including his family, friends and anyone who called with a tech support question or needing to buy parts. His kindness has blessed many and he gained some of the most loyal customers and many even became his friend along the way. If you would like to buy parts from our family, call us 810-653-6300. Merry Christmas! Blessings, Breanna Chron (12-18-21)
