Slacking on damage does not mean a depletion doing mechanics and not wiping is what matters healer dps does not matter unless you are pushing top rank 1 keystones you league of legends motherfuckers have the healer role misconstrued.
I've been tanking on my paladin, returning after not playing for a good chunk of the expansion, and my lord I feel borderline helpless... I'm just under 500 ilvl, and 4s/5s feel like I'm fighting for my fuckin life out there. I like to think I'm decent at tanking, know my rotation, active mitigation is up, cds are being used frequently, and yet I am getting spit roasted by these fuckin mobs, while my tab key gets a leg day workout as I'm frantically trying to maintain aggro as everyone splits dps to a different mob, and get as many important interrupts off as possible, and then you got Joseph Blo out here like "here tank, 2 more pulls while you've got nothing off cd, you're welcome." I feel like I'm drowning in a sea of my own mediocrity and in season 2 I was doing 20s-22s perfectly fine.. I'm not saying we are wiping, and most of the time the keys are timed unless dps is.... lacking... But fuck am I putting in some blood, sweat, and tears to make this shit work... Judging by the video, it might not just be me? Squishadin is just the vibe I guess?
@nolabets3130 4s drop 499? You shouldn't need to be fully geared in a specific mythic + level gear just to move up 1 level, and I'm just under 500. I get 3ilvl upgrades from +4s, I shouldn't be getting my cheeks spread by every gnoll with a snout in Brackenhide
Underrated comment. 10/10 and I’ve notice some paladin tanks either get nuked or I don’t have to worry about them at all almost as a healer in lower keys
Lmfao…he said DH’s have a limited crowd control toolkit!!! 😂🤣 What is this guy talking about?!? And what DH’s rarely use Chains and Misery?!? Then saying Sigil of Chains is a budget Death Grip!!!! 😂🤣. Have you EVER actually tanked on a DH?!? They probably have the best crowd control tool kit of any tank class AND Chains is an absolutely phenomenal ability!! Also, how you going to say they struggle with Aggro?!? It’s insanely easy to get aggro as a DH Tank!! I was watching this just to see what people think and man, I found a good laugh!!
I do almost the same dmg as elemental and survival...Those lists are all pretty tendencious and repetitive...Anything new to bring, you all mix popularity or constancy in keys with the dps os capacity itself
@@WrightAid there is a good video on how the Aug evoker is also decreasing build diversity for the other roles too. I can't remember why exactly but they showed it with math. They showed group comps every season through DF and diversity plummeted hard when the Aug came out.
It's hard to balance the spec is the issue, because there is a decent skill gap. So they can't nerf it much or it's worthless for 98% of the playerbase.
"Man who say it cannot be done, should not interrupt man doing it" Any class and any spec can go 3-3.5k with pug only. Metaslaves are just lames and the smarter part of the community just jokes on them.
I'd say that pandaland had a big impact on the season 4 drop off as well - I know my server essentially turned into a ghost town when pandaland dropped, and pugging has been a nightmare since!
I've healed since MoP (im a teenager so i wouldn't have been born early enough for other expansions), dont follow the Meta wow nerds and build your talent tree based off of trying different combinations. Meta WoW is ran by tank mains wanting the easy way out by putting hell on Healers. The talent tree combinations allow you to suit what's best for you instead of taking a "prediction talent tree" based of the calculations of a guy who thinks mana works like rage.
as a afflic main i sometimes completely give up applying agony on 4+ targets if only the vile tain cooldown was 5 secs less but still as long as you can kill the mobs within 25 secs and its the most fun class imo to play as a horde lover seeing that seeds of corruption stack up and fps bomb your teammates on heroic dungeon pulls is hilarious and very arousing only if the mobs can stay alive for more than 6 secs lol but yeah all hail Guldan maker of the fatherless Anduin
Thanks for this! Mage feels right for me. I don't think there is another class where I actually enjoy all of the specs, and being able to start off with frost, ease into fire, then dabble in arcane as I get better is very appealing. Played shadow priest in Shadowlands and it was fun, and I often dominated the damage meters, but the rotation was a lot to keep up with and disc was far too intimidating for me to try and master.
Thats far too much and not fair. Why do I have to do every role? Why do I have to do the jobs of 3 instead of just one? Why do I have to work so much harder than the rest of the group?
KSM is so easy i started in df season 3 late and got KSM its not hard just play the game I never played classic I never played mmos its easy just get good
Idk man, yeah this is 10 months old, but even back then that ranking was questionable to say the least. Like putting Havoc in the hard tier is pretty wild honestly. Yes, the rotation is really complex if youre min-maxing. However, the class is so god damn overtuned that youre easily gonna dish out the throughput of other non-ret-melees by not aligning your burst cds at all. Havoc being squishy is a flatout lie. Yes, its more prone to receiving one-shots as a leather class, but these arent supposed to happen unless youre pushing in the top 1% range. What matters for your average top 10% player is sustain, and Havocs passive self-healing is unparalleled, these fuckers can sustain themselves at 15 tyra HoI bosses with zero oppurtunity cost. Finally, I partially disagree with the 'more utility = more responsibility' take. Having an abundance of crowd control makes the gameplay more interactive and therefore challenging, yes. However, having these cc's also contributes to the classes survivability and its ability to deal damage without bothering positioning. Frost DK on the other hand is greatly overrated in terms of its simplicity. Yes, its core rotation is basically a two-button-situation and the burst windows usually boil down to pillar every 60 second with runeweapon every third pillar and frostwyrm every 2nd pillar. However, Frost DK suffers extremely from melee downtime due to its dependancy on critical autos and staying in DaD. Maximizing your pillar window easily generates 50% variance between an average and a good Frost DK since just like with rogues, your baseline hits like a wet noodle. And while the self-sustain provided by death strike is very strong, Frost is heavily gcd-locked and a high apm spec (comparable to fury in that regard). It sacrifices a serious amount of damage and pillar uptime with each wasted global. Not saying Frost is hard by any means, but its definatly intermediate, a lot harder than yolo ret paladins, harder than fury warriors and windwalkers and less hard than cats and rogues.
For some people the addon Vocal Rais Assistant might be super beneficial to keep a good overview of what their group is doing! (Transparency: I'm the author, so I might be biased, but you decide!)
I have never watched one of these videos before but I loved it. Something about it made me feel like a kid again. Maybe the voice and the light background music, and then the tips section, it felt like I was reading an issue of GamePro magazine when I was 14. I mean this in the best way possible. Subscribed.
441 ilvl for heroics? I can’t even get into a normal raid at 485 ilvl. When I ask why I get booted it’s because “ilvl to low. We ain’t trying to carry you” 😒
New-ish wow player here, i picked up a havoc demonhunter bc i really like illidan and the whole idea of the edgy elvers, but now at m0 and m+ i noticed that i need nigh flawless execution of my class to perform ,,well" i wondered if it really was just me being a idiot or if the class is just oddly hard and this proves it is hard. so i will switch to something easier so i can have less of a hard time playing wow
I just came back to play after 16yrs. What in holy hell did you guys do to WoW its an ugly top down mess of spell vomit. How do you like playing this garbage??
Healer is not responsible for interrupt. Priest doesn't have one and rdruid's interrupt is not practical. But as a priest, i always use my aoe cc (not a real interrupt but close enough) because what else can you do for pugging?
Remix is silly. It's like... if you enjoy chess, but don't want to play an evenly matched opponent and instead set a chess computer to such low level that you can dominate it every game. Then play it over and over. You're not learning anything, not getting better, and the outcome of every game is predetermined. Maybe it's therapy for players who are tired of challenge? To me it gets boring really fast.
I go back and forth on Shadow Priest. On one hand, the core rotation is pretty simple without being boring, and the class is definitely a vibe. On the other hand, it feels like the spec relies too much on massive 30sec+ cooldowns to really do big damage, which is clunky and boring.
