That’s exactly how I feel about demo. It just feels more consistent in pug groups and it feels better to just use your cds on most pulls and still be ready for the boss

Definitely if you have a premade group and are communicating destro is better

@@FGCDean Exactly, the 2 min cd of demo is just too helpful. If you mess up your infernal timing and its not up for boss with lust its huge set back. Way easier to time CDs throughout the run as demo. I experimented with 2 minute infernal for pugging but it just wasnt as good as demo at that point. The main strength of destro is the god tier 3 min aoe but if its not being utilized correctly its actually a C tier spec imo

@@cojapie I've plus two'd a few 13s as demo as top or 2nd dps. I'm guessing I'll feel more pressure in the 15s to go destro. For now though 13s feel fine as demo

Basically any class, play what do you want. Everyone got mostly BiS gear (2x trinkets, weapon) so plus 10 keys are bad joke now 😂

any premade is better than pugging. yall can communicate on an intricate level and understand eachothers' weaknesses and strengths.

That comp is about as meta as you can get without playing any of the top 5 specs... you are literally building a comp around raid buffs that does really well with smaller pull pacing, and all melee so positioning for pres is trivial. Also, bdk +pres is very strong due to time dilation.

@@Dontaethefist that's true, in season 1 the group I played with we ran an off-meta comp. We had a BDK, PEvoker, Outlaw, Enha and SPriest. We struggled in some keys but made it work, we nearly got 0.1% for title, but the grind became too much lol.

Hunters are way to squishy, you need a dedicated healer on them.

In the high keys, it's not just about damage. Utility, I would argue, is much more important. You'll have to ask yourself two questions in order to identify if your spec should be ranked higher. 1. What else does the spec bring that can benefit the group? Utilities below are highly sought after. -AoE stops (probably the most important one when planning for large pulls) -dispells -enrage dispells for enraging weeks -methods to skip enemies or cheese mechanics (such as wyrmstone for treemouth, assuming that hasn't been fixed yet) -group-wide defensive -battle rez -hero/lust -etc. 2. Can it survive high bursts of damage or consistant incoming damage? How much are you needing to rely on the healer to keep you alive? If you can get to a point to where the healer doesn't have to worry about you much, then they can take on other tasks, such as dealing with affixes or dealing some dps.

@@corysteiner1218 damage > survivability > utility. People only talk about utility when the class can do good damage except for augmentation which has more to do with bringing survivability than utility.

@@corysteiner1218 this is what I am after. But it also means that unless hunter is super ahead in dmg they will never reach the meta. Last I can remember was BM that was in the meta in BFA season 4 of the ranged ones. Just feels like it is a cluster of specs that alternate being in the meta and some others that never or almost never reach it, talking about DPS. Most of them have a plethora of utility or survivability or both and some other classes are very lacking which something I wish Blizz would look at.

The vid was probably recorded before the Assa buffs , but Assa is def the way to go in higher keys.

I don't mean this in a disrespectful way or anything, just stating a fact that the top 20 Assassination rouge average mythic + timed is around a 13 - 14. That's pretty low. (Average of a Destro is 18 / Average of Shadowpriest is 20). That 2 Assassination rouges you see, are like the top .01 percent. They must be incredible players that found some sort of exploit/trick that they're gatekeeping.

@@Whatever-qs3rx bro, the avg timed keys for assassination is 13-14 that's incredible low. There's not a single reason to bring a rogue when dh, war, pally, dk are WAY better.

@@robinflowe1066 Yeah, with the AOE sure. But affly has like the WORST EVER prio swap damage for totem on last though. But if you play setup correctly, it's all good...

Vile taint and soul rot help, but trinket/staff help more. Ultimately though, yeah - pretty dependent on the other damage dealers to carry that prio burst

@@kungjocke9446why does everyone forget soul swap exists? You have ss, 30sec cds, run nymues staff and spindle. Its awkward but you can pull your weight

@@nikrotas Because other talents are worth way more than this garbage. Both trinkets are really awkward to play as well in m+, it wont help.

It's because these are based on popularity, not actual function. The top 1% of players is who determines what's "best" for the season, because everyone wants to emulate them, so whatever they choose to play on, is what everyone else makes into a "meta". It's a sheep mentality.

Ilvl counts a bit, what's more useful is your spec knowledge and dungeon knowledge. With 495 you could do +10 keys. I reccomend you to just start playing keys and go as high as you can.

I main a resto druid. 8s get you mythic track vault pieces so you don’t really need to go higher then that for gearing. 10s are good to do once for the portals. At 495 though, I’d stick to 2-6 range depending on the team. Lots of things are outta your control such as when the tank pulls big on fort weeks or dps don’t interrupt and/or stand in swirlies but lots of things can be done as a rdruid such as catweaving and disrupting shout on cd. You could probably manage an 8 but it would be stressful and dependent on the team doing well too. But you can basically just run 2-5 until the crests don’t help you anymore. The tome from azure vault is really good for us but you have to go balance loot spec for it to drop. Yumytv (growl) has a rdruid m+ guide for s4 if you want to be sure you’re getting the most outta the spec. Good luck!

I agree to an extent. I do feel like VDH having so much control has made pug players even lazier than they already were.

Lol I only watch it for fun. I’m wayy too picky to pick something i don’t actually like. There’s only 2 classes in all of WoW I can play past lv 50.

I had 3k rio on my brewmaster main last season so yea I agree. This tier lists are kinda bs and ruins the minds of many people. they end up only inviting s tier classes even tho most specs can do high keys.

Not to mention that in latest balance update everyone got buffed except Survival. Blizzard obviously does not like this spec.

Than you play destro wrong..... I had easy 400k dps already in lower keys and with a gs way under 500... So you def do smth wrong

Agree resteal is no problem except shade affix weeks and even with that is still very playable. Playing assa and monk and assa pumping way more than monk…. Definitly one of the best melee spec atm if not the best

@@romanbloomfield9066 Assa literally does more damage than outlaw lol. Or at least has the potential too. It takes literally seconds between pulls to allow for a restealth. Point is it’s all preference and people are undervaluing the damage output of Assa atm

Pugging is when you group up with random players. If I were to join someone from the LFG system I’d be pugging with them.

Resto shammy is doing really well in raid and m+ maybe not plus 29 but very high

​@@moejassimm as an HPal main it really upsets me how long it is taking Blizzard to give us any kind of meaningful buff. Buff the spenders, holy shock, flash of light, and consecration and we could limp through season 4. No rework needed now, just buffs.

Damage is nowhere near outlaw, theres a reason zerocool plays OL now.

Blame the players, not the game. Tier lists represent what the upper potential of a spec is. It isn’t going to dictate the logs or success of every party you join unless balance is astoundingly bad. But I’ve played both Hpal and Rdruid in +10s first two weeks of the season and the difference in ease of play between the two is staggering.

Sure bro you are probably telling the truth about your runs. However, if a good player joined your group on one of the top specs you would get dumpstered. That is the point. I totally agree with your sentiment of playing what you want though for sure
