This is astonishing! Super impresive and different look to everyone else's - it's fresh and disgusting at the same time. I am going to paint this, thank you so much for the comprehensive guide.
Thanks for taking the time to make and upload this excellent instructional video. Thoroughly explains the process from start to finish. Your template idea is inspired and really helped me get the most from my rollers. Once again, sincerest thanks. Top job.
Incubi Darkness is the same colour as you're using for the base. You can also get the same tonal ranges from Vallejo and AK Interactive, as well as Army Painter :)
This was a good tutorial. I’ve been intimidated by the thought of trying to paint nice smooth skin, but after having watched you do this I think i have the skill! It looks so good 👌 keep up the good work
Khorne: "Look at my Judgements!" Tzeentch: "Spells. They're just spells and you're in denial." K: "They're totally not! You can't unbind them, you can't dispel them, only my player can move them, and they don't replace the priest's prayer attempts: they're summoned in addition." T: "Those were the downsides to casting. You literally just removed all the downsides." K: "Yeah, because I hate magic and think it's unfair!" T: ". . .WTF?"
I have no idea how to paint with airbrush, and how to paint, in general, and I'm colorblind, but here we are at 0:35am buying paints and an airbrusher and the keeper of secrets miniature. GJ youtube, you did it again. Amazing work!
The blue cloth is really pretty, wouldn't normally say that about warhammer models but they KoS is quite beautiful. They capture that otherworldly horror well and your colour scheme emphasises that nicely.
The contact points where its a tight fit may need any undercoat or overspray cleaning away. I do remember it being a bit of a chore to fit it together after painting
A bit late to the game, I know, but I made one of these this morning and tried it out making some 40mm bases. It makes a big difference and I suspect that with a little more practice I will now be able to get 'perfect' bases using the GSW rollers. Thanks Terry! 10/10 Regarding the clogging of the rollers, I use an ice cream tub filled with water and a drop or two of washing up liquid. During the session, when they are not actually being used, I keep the rollers in it. At first sign of clogging I use an old hard toothbrush to clean them - don't wait, do it immediately. ATM I cannot see any residue on my rollers. HTH.
I know this is an older video but just wanted to say I really enjoyed it! My husband has roped me into starting miniatures with him he's been building and painting them since he was 13 and I wasn't interested until he showed me these guys. But I was overwhelmed with how to begin to paint them! It was relaxing to watch this while building them. Thanks!
Some fantastic videos, the truth is that you inspire me a lot and I regret not seeing recent videos of yours, I wish I could continue watching your videos.
