Follow us on our adventures across this beautiful country. Whether you're family, friends or just interested in getting some ideas to get out there--watch and enjoy! We named our original mode of exploration "Wild Horses" which was a 35' Cruiser Yacht; then our Sunnybrook 5th Wheel; ...followed by our Keifer horse trailer w/living quarters, and now our Tiffin motorhome. 'Wild Horses' was because of all the horses we've owned and loved, plus the fact wild horses can't drag us away from camping and adventure!
lol i dont know why but weddings are soooooo boring people watching people ya dont even like really. when i was a kid the high light of weddings back in the late 70s was makin out with the brides maids man!! that was it lol and watching mom and dad drunk making a fool of themselves i mean that was the high light of the evening. its just so boring now. but people are so fake an phony in this new world 2023 i hate weddings ! but none the less i hope they and u guys had fun.
The little boots on the dog was so cute . beautiful place, my son would have played in that lazy river pool all day. Great videos love the kitty's cats too.
Thanks.... You did well with the idiots in the rain. We were there 3 weeks later. We were on the rebuilt beach side and it was good except for the ants. The bay side is more intimate, although closer to your neighbor, in our opinion. Your dog is so calm. If he met our two, he would tell them to "chill dudes" 😂.
Our dog is NOT calm... he's usually a nervous wreck. LOL. He's a rescue that has been through a lot. You're right about the way they revamped the bayside, the sites used to not be so close together as they are now. We were lucky, our neighbors to the right were super nice and the other neighbor we never saw!
Thanks... we put a stop to the arrivals in the dark pretty quickly. We use RV Trip Wizard and target 150 to 225 miles with an absolute max of 300 (with an extremely early start). We are based in Dallas and never depart or arrive in traffic rush hours. Y"all did well with the adversity. Take care...
We also use RV Trip Wizard and I revamped our entire style of driving after that trip--doing the same thing you are. We're using Harvest Hosts so our travel days are shorter and we aren't totally stressed out by the time we get somewhere! If you check out our more recent videos---we've gotten better!
That is always awesome when you can travel to see family and friends. We are originally from Virginia, but we call Southern Florida home these days. Whenever we go home we always have to hit our favorite restaurants too. How is I-81 for motorhomes? Is it a good or bad drive? We have debated taking it north to clear the DC area. I would really prefer never to sit in that traffic in the RV.
We prefer Rt 81 to Rt 95... it takes you far enough away from DC that you don't get stuck in the mess we got into coming back from the wedding in NJ. We find Rt 81 a pleasant drive. That's the way we will take if going to NJ and New England when we go again in the future.
Yes we have! We bought a 2015 Chevy Colorado and put a Towmaster package on ourselves. Our first time towing it was our Anniversary Trip to Galveston Island... it just came out on RU-vid on Saturday. 😊
😮. Wow!! I gotta try that Reeses. That’s like,a whole bottle of peanut butter with a little chocolate poured over it. Lol Awesome video!! Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
First time watcher and I just subscribed. What a nice video. 🙂 I was shocked you didn't go into Buc-ee's. I love their cheap diesel when we have to fill up our RV. So in the next video do we get your honest opinion on your new upgrades?
I didn't go into Buc-ee's because we had all the pets with us and it was quite warm outside. My husband went and got our BBQ sandwiches. :) I hated driving the motorhome originally because it was like driving a bucking bronco. Now I do drive---drove 4.5 hours to South Padre Island for one instance. I don't have to keep adjusting the steering wheel to keep it straight. Going over bridges with expansion joints is so much nicer now too. No endless bucking!
@@wildhorsesrvadventures That's really great! I am so happy for you guys. It's always nice to have an honest review and opinion. We have a diesel pusher. Kitty travels with us too. I always run the generator to keep the air conditioners and the refrigerator running, but even with that my wife has never been into Buc-ee's. She always stays in the coach with kitty.
I was there Oct 16 - 21 and froze my tail off, so to speak. Been going there since the 50's. Beautiful country. We initiated a man who's never gone camping in his life. And felt Garner was the perfect place to be. Thanks for the vid and subscribed. Jb
