Whichever becomes the accepted burial site, King David's time was Hebrew Bible aligned. Although Christian belief is truthfully inclined, it is independent of the Hebrew belief. Ultimately, Jesus represents Christianity, King David represents Judaism. Best to also hear what Jewish Rabbis say. It remains un-resolved.

In regards to Nineveh receiving Jonah’s message I think they genuinely accepted the God of the Bible but I found it interesting that the god of Nineveh was Dagon which was a half man and half fish. Just so happens that a fish spits out a man and he then says to repent to the God of the Bible.

When did this Mosul trip take place? I did a deployment there in 2006/07. On one of our missions we had to divert around an IED on a bridge. It took us right next to an enormous mosque and then we went south. I remember seeing a tall dirt berm and thought what in the world is that. Got back to the base and looked it up on google earth and it was the ruins of Nineveh. I grew up a Christian but never really had studied my Bible back then. I did know the story of Jonah and it just fascinated me that I was in the same area.

Shouldn’t be any Ancient Greek in the Old Testament except for when the Old Testament was totally translated into Greek about 275BC. It’s called the Septuagint translation.

The majority migrated through the caucasus mountains and around the Black and Caspian seas. They picked up may names along the way such as Saacae, Cimmerians, Vandals, Goths, Scythians etc They eventually settled and founded the northern Erupoean nations, the United States, Canada, Australia, Greenland, Iceland, South Africa and New Zealand.

I wonder if there isn’t forgotten about the big flood. How would it be possible to find these rivers back, when there is a big layer of sediment becouse of this flood? Ofcourse I like this searcing for the real location but I can hardly believe this, because it’s not mentioned. I alsoo know that the bible talks about de gihonwatersource somewhere in Jerusalem. Should’nt it be searced there?
Joel, did David know about crucifixion? Was that even a thing in his time? This would be a huge confirmation of prophecy in that he predicted an killing by crucifixion where he had no frame of reference to crucifixion or nailing of hands and feet... wow... mind blown...
Without faith it is impossible to please God. The Jerusalem ppl were having faith that God would save them. If the ppl in the other cities had faith they would have been saved
I don’t believe any of this is related to a God. The Bible is a wonderful text that documents events and beliefs of early man in the Middle East. A God was a convenient way to blame or explain events. At the same time that all this was occurring in the Middle East Chinese society was already much older and better established.

when i worked at a cafe every sunday morning we would have a preacher come in and one morning it was really slow so i started talking to him and asked him to think with an open mind when i said this "dont think of the bible as a religous document but more of a history text book" he didnt even need to think much on it and said i was not wrong then he said "those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it". loved talking to him about all manner of topics he was very wise and well travled.
Why do you have a globe on the shelf behind you when the Bible clearly states that we are a stationary plane on a foundation not a spinning globe yes I'm playing clever by a firmament with half the waters below and half the waters above and that's why when you look at stars they look like you're looking through water wake up
