She died? OK, at least she survived the violent psycho coke fiend by over 15 years :). The man was never as awesome as he imagined, either. I mean, Rocket 88 can only take one so far....
I've only just become aware of Don Defore from watching Hazel, before my time, but thanks to YT I'm watching all the re-runs.. Just love Mr. B and all the others on the show. Thanks for this uploader.
You might like also to watch some early episodes of "Ozzie and Harriet", a TV show which ran from 1952-1966. Most, if not all, of the episodes are now in public domain. A great many of them are available to watch, for free, on various video platforms. Examples: Y-tube, Internet Archive, Tubi, etc. Don DeFore played "Mr. Thornberry" (or "Thorny"), Ozzie Nelson's next door neighbor, and oftentimes companion, in various adventures and happenstances on the show.
Beautiful soul wonderful woman for the limits push by all sides it's remarkable in her personality and performance but behind closed doors is a different matter but not in 2024 ❤❤❤❤
I remember watching this back in 83, hadn't seen it for years as it was lost to time until RU-vid came along. So funny to see this again, and such a shame about their falling out, they were great friends at one time.
Saw the Ike & Tina Turner Revue at Hammersmith Odeon in February’71 & can honestly say it was one of the best gigs I’ve ever seen. The sheer power, warmth & energy Tina emanated from that stage was unbelievable… as was the amazing choreography her & the Ikettes performed throughout the show. Tina will forever be a legend! ❤
Think of how different her life would have been if she remained true to Johnny. I'll never tire of listening to the same jokes over and over. Her delivery. Perfect.
I think it’s prophetic that this show, certainly this episode, was sponsored by “Hazel” Bishop. It’s such a funny shadow of what would come to Don DeFore’s career just seven/eight years later.
