I started woodworking when I was 12 years old and built my first treehouse. Since then, I have slowly learned more and more about woodworking and I try to get 1% better each day.
One day, I hope to bring my woodworking journey full circle and build luxury treehouses filled with a craftsmanship.
In the meantime, I would love for you to join me as I take on woodworking projects, review tools, and give you ideas and inspiration to build something yourself.

Nice video. Very nice shop too. So happy to see the young with such an interest in woodworking. I really like the way you express yourself with your hands. That's the way I do myself. I can't talk about anything without using my hands a lot. I think you have a bright future keep up the good work. Look forward to watching your videos. Subscribed.
Great video but I would avoid using a planer on endgrain boards like that. Other than the chip out, it can be very dangerous. Use a board milling setup with a router attached to it instead. You can get nice one from Woodpeckers for a couple hundred bucks.

We have seen RU-vidrs answer the same questions . 99.9% do not recommend any of the junk . Putting the link in the description was just a waste . Enjoy your junk tools ! Cheers
I always order these bags online luxrul , My items never have any issues. We should keep or money in our pockets & buy things that appreciate in value, like houses, stocks, bonds, etc.
I tried Temu and couldn’t be more disappointed. It seems their whole strategy is to put out some cheap teasers and then upsale you. Might be better than Ali Express, though, but that isn’t saying much.
DO NOT AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON install the APP it is spyware.. if you know nothing about plastic,, you shouldn't talk about it.. DO NOT AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON install the APP it is spyware.. If you want to to buy, do it online.. If you know nothing about metric,, do not talk about it.. The bench dogs (not dog hole stops) are metric if you do not have metric bits they will NOT work.. The gauge block are way off.... Hands down the WORST Review EVER.. I have never seen anyone this CLUELESS!!!!! DO NOT AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON install the APP it is spyware..
Great Video!! Kind of off topic but just wondering if that planer you're using has helical blades? Reason being I'm looking for a good planer to start out and wondering if the strait blades work well.
That planer has three straight blades. They are reversible which is great. However, I have loved this planer. I have been using it consistently for about 5 years. If you decide to buy it, I would appreciate it if you use the link in the video description … it helps me out! I also have a video review on the amazon page of that planer. Hope this helps!
great job, your video was very inspiring, I just set up a wood working shop in my garage with everything but a cnc router but I see one in the future. Thanks
When you show a square like 123 block or the small 3” angle block or even the spacing shims. You should have a measurement device like calipers or a machinists square to compare it to. Will def help to show accuracy.
Don’t you have any ruler that is accurate? The most important thing about those setup blocks is to verify if they are accurate measurements… imo…. Any ruler or measuring device that is not accurate is not worth any money, regardless of how cheap it is. Oh, and the little red triangle is 2 1/5 inches… it says it right on the edge you were holding. FYI
@@Ben_Grimsley Thank you for response. I also use Temu, for woodworking items, I kick myself when I see something I bought earlier.... on Temu at half the price.

You're using the moisture meter wrong. 'SCAN' is when you lay the meter down against the wood, like you use a stud finder. When you stab the prongs in the wood is 'PIN.' PIN is more accurate.
Temu is great if you’re not expecting Woodpeckers quality. I usually steer clear of the plastic stuff if it has moving parts (like their corner clamps), but otherwise I’m happy with Temu stuff for the price.
Good video thank you for testing. Just an observation, you should use a "better" moisture to compare results and put a digital caliper on the setup blocks to test accuracy.
Hey man, great video. I have a recommendation on the epoxy leaking issue you experienced. Use the same setup, but before putting the wood into the mold try laying down a thick silicone mat. Throw some weights on top and the silicone mat should create enough of a seal to prevent leaks. I had this theory in the past and recently tested it on 2 projects, one I made a video about. I made an “epoxy river” style design for some napkin holders for my wife to test my theory and it worked perfectly, although my project was much smaller than your project but the process should work the same as long as the bottom surface of your wood is flat.
Chill out, Ben. The tables look fine! But next time seal the entire top with epoxy before you add the pigmented epoxy. That should prevent the black epoxy getting into the end grain of the cookies. Just remember: Sometimes you win. Sometimes you learn.
Love your videos - you're to the point, not a ton of fluff like some others. Just wondering if you sell any of your projects on Etsy. You talk about selling "online" - but there isn't anything on your Etsy shop - except for this board butter. Just curious. I'm looking at getting into craft shows... but I like many of your b2b ideas too.
