I’ve been looking for a build where I can use both great sword and short bow. I love carrying a big sword but I also love hitting things at a distance when I can’t melee up close. This is awesome
Thanks for the helpful guide. Being new, it can be overwhelming to try and figure out and get achievements, and the best stuff out of an event. Doing so on the first time round without having to facepalm later on waiting for the event to come back around, is wonderful. Thank you so much for the tips and help.
So I play reaper power greatsword. Do I need to turn off my auto targeting? (Not auto attack) Or should I keep it on? Seems like if I don't use it the rotation dies after whatever I'm killing does. It doesn't put the skill that's in action locked onto the next enemy. I had alot of people say i needed to get used to it off but it helps me clear pve trash mobs faster.
was hoping for a bit more explanation on HOW you earn the favor things. Like how the Crown Pavilion favor rewards only once a day and you HAVE to do both at least one run of all the bosses and the race events to earn it. But it's unclear how you earn the Cliffs favor and your supposed to be able to earn those repetitively, but it's unclear how.
But that was explained in the video. You have 2 Favors: Favor of the Bazar, and Favor of the Pavilion. You need to finish a certain daily for each of them, and that changes for time to time. I don't think I remember at all at any point the daily for the Pavilion to require a full Blitz run and then doing the race. If the daily required the race, you can do it at any time by talking to the time trail NPC and it will count.

I've been trying to just suffer through the Crown Pavilion bosses for YEARS... and it never came to my mind to actually look at the proper mechanics 🙈 Thank you, thank you I am getting sooooo many achievements in the next few days!!! 🤩

And here i was soloing all hot hp with a basic pure berzerk dps, now it just got better, amazing builds as always ; Btw, if i run some diviner's for concentration, could it be worth to swap Assassin's Presence (fury every 10s) for Notoriety (Might grants more power) since you get a lot of might no ?

I highly recommend Spider because of its skills. It's also very easy to get. But if you still don't want it, you can choose any other pet that applies some conditions, like "Bristleback"

I don't know if I fully understand your question, but you will not get any spirit shards unless you finish all the masteries of the region you're in. For example, you'll only get spirit shards from XP in any of the core maps only if you have all the core Tyria masteries done
