Can't eat conch in FL? When I was a kid (hard to believe that was 30 years ago) we caught blue crabs with chicken and a piece of string...we would check it every 5 minutes, and there would be a crab on there almost every time. It's crazy how much crabbing has slowed down over the years.
If a boat manufacturer cant wire a bilge without failing from the factory without fixing the design thats terrible and you shouldnt love the company. U shouldnt have to have a dealer fix major electrical issues before taking delivery. If frontier isnt willing to address the issues that are known issues coming from the factory then noone should be buying these.
THat Black fin is not worth Thousands of dollars. I Owned and Captained Sportfishing boats off of a Small Florida Island for the better part of 40 years and Black Fin had to be sold on Consignment if anyone would buy them at all. Yellowfin and Blue Fin Tuna made us money. Its also sad that this guy couldn't even handle this fish and had to put the rod in the gunnels rod holder. If it would have been a record or in a tournament that would instantly disqualify the catch. If you know what you are doing a child could have caught this fish BY THEIR SELF without having to cheat and use the Boat cause he couldn't hold the rod any longer. A real Captain would have cut the fish off since it is no longer a fair fight. I have had so many young kids even young girls catch Bigger Black Fins BY them selves and you can look at local tournament records showing just how many little boys and girls managed to out do this. Lol. What is this guy going to do if he ever accidently hooks a big tuna, marlin, or even a sailfish if he can't even pull in a Black fin without cheating? I had a women that was able to catch 189 lb. Yellow fin Tuna breaking the local women's record for Yellow fin on 20lb test the first time she ever went fishing on the ocean. I had another women catch the local Lemon shark record 285 lb.s on 50 pound test line. So why can't this guy catch a small Tuna without giving up and using the boats gunnel to do it? He should be embarrassed to even admit it mush less show it like its some sort of accomplishment. Little kids literally know how to fight a fish better than him. He would never live this down if he worked around real fishermen. Sad when a boats rod holder out fishes you. Lol.
This guy couldn't even handle a Black Fin Tuna he had to give up and put the rod back in the rod holder on the gunnel so there is no way he could handle a real tuna like a Yellow Fin or Blue Fin. It's funny he even posted this and isn't embarrassed about his rod holder out fishing him. I just sent this video to all my fellow Sportfishing boat captains and can't wait to see the funny things what they say about this Giant Black Tuna slayer who thinks he really scored and hit the big time. It would make a much better live bait for Marlin or a Mako. The Mako would be worth money.
that set up is what is causing the fish to get off. every time you pump the rod to work the fish in, that egg sinker slides up and then slams into the hook which is causing the fish to come unbuttoned. I would consider a more traditional Carolina rig with a swivel and rubber knot protector so the sinker is still free but not slamming the hook out.
@@DustyFishCo that would be a cool video actually. All my years of fishing tells me I am right, but I’ve never tried to test it like that so maybe that’s fallacy. Good luck out on the water and stay safe!
Well if you had quit fishing when you already had your limit you wouldn't have yo worry about catching any bigger fish. Lol I'm just kidding fish till the bait is gone.
This kayak is for big water that’s why it’s so heavy. I know people who have been fishing in the ocean of Florida with cheaper kayaks that are lighter and are tippier. He has also owned native, wilderness, and hobie and he has has to replace after 3 years. The kayak he has now is the old town sportsman big water 132 pdl. He has never turned over in the ocean, he has had for since they first came out with the sportsman series. He fishes in professional tournaments and will never change brands again he said. Knowing this like I do that’s big time with him, because he was always looking for the next great thing.
