I have a rock island fs 1911 every other bullet doesn’t extract the casing out keeps getting jammed in the slide any helpful tips the gun is brand new and rock island says 500 break in point but racking 500 bullets kinda suck
so yall are the the outfit with this new 20X11 huh. if you wanna try a weird vector of marketing im doing a series called "a normie shoots" But im actually a pretty good informed shooter haha. Just got my SC2 for the series
I bought a LFA Appolo 11 that Ive heard has all egw parts other than the grip that is plastic 3d printed. I got a old aluminum Sti grip frame and a Prodigy (plastic) grip but both of them seem to bind up the grip ssaftey. Like the grip saftey /mainspring housing are 1/32 to long when assembled. Also the radius on the bottom of the grip safety is too wide and contacts the grip frame. Do i reshape and shorten the saftey or take some off the mainspring housing. Is that common or is there a grip safety the is radiused tighter at the bottom and slightly shorter?
It is hard to understand what you are totally dealing with, but first, get the frame radius fitted so the grip radius will pin into the frame(just us a mainspring housing frame pin or hammer pin for set-up). Once this is complete then Then start fitting the paw to the trigger.
They have some application depending on loads, caliber and how you are going to set you pistol up. But, if you set the pistol up properly with proper recoil springs they are generally not needed.
Check out our website for grip safeties we have a lot to choose from for the GI models. As for a 40, It will depend on the original cal of he pistol for how much work will be needed to convert. We have some videos listed about this.
Sir If the plan that God has me in the middle of continues you're going to be getting a lot of my builds to work your magic on. God bless the InnerWeb 😂🙌🏼 Excellent presentation by the way Kudos
Good day to you sir, i have a para barrel .40,i change the link to #3 and the barrel to frame fit has bit of a play/loose and also the barrel has a play up/down, what can you advice on how to fix my gun sir? Thank much. Hope you’l notice..god speed.👌
On the barrel, I would check the bushing for fit in the slide and on barrel, if it has a bushing. Next you might have to "link-up" to a No.4 or so to see if it will help. Also, Check the slide stop pin, you can try a slide stop with pin diameter at .199-.200. This may also help. Thanks for joining in.
Look at the website, For the GI/Mil spec you are limited or you can send the pistol in for milling. But look the mil spec sights over on the website first. Call in for help if you need it.
