What is the job market like? I'm moving to Edmonton in the end of July. My plan is to live in Sherwood Park. I'm coming from a small rural community that has little to no opportunities what so ever. Any ideas guys about the job market? Thanks
Don’t forget that it’s a frozen wasteland from October to April and the city is wasting millions on a transit system for the people who can’t afford to drive and contribute nothing to the tax base
I'm from Québec originally, and currently residing in shithole Toronto. GTA looks more and more like a third-world country. It is expensive, crowded, people are cunts. Although I despise winter, I am considering Edmonton or Calgary. Vancouver would also be nice, but it is way too costly. Thanks for uploading this video. I have only been to Alberta once, at YYC. I hope to live there this year. Here's hoping that Canada will become a beautiful, affordable country again!
Glenora = 100 years of enforced blandness. Summerside is just more sprawl, and the lake is there to minimize storm drainage demands. South Edmonton Common is just your generic big box tumour. Riverbend is 1970s sprawl. And... okay, you just recommended Windermere. I will stop taking you seriously now.
Edmonton is pleasant for 3-4 months of the year Late Spring Summer the rest 8months is like living in Siberia no thanks been there tried that never again
You haven't travel to other cities in Canada traffic in Edmonton is nothing it's one of the reasons I moved to Edmonton 15 years a go you didn't mention all the homeless people or the drug problem you're way off the mark when it comes to the snow in Edmonton compared to Montreal I have lived in both cities Edmonton gets way more snow in the West Edmonton mall is not the largest mall in North the mall of America in Minneapolis is much bigger it's not hard to fact check anything that you say do your homework before you lie
I've lived in both cities. Only Edmonton makes you pay a 15 cent fine. For wanting your drive thru meal, in a recycled paper bag. Edmonton was nice 10 years ago. The homeless scene is getting outta hand now. Toronto was nice, but you can't afford to live there. I'll stay in Alberta. But moving to the outside of Edmonton. Is my future plan. Its lost its lustre for me.
Always lived in Toronto and cities around Toronto. They're all better than Edmonton, Calgary or ANY other city in Canada. Theres a reason houses are expensive here. Weather, Jobs, Economy, Resources, Education, Diversity, Its much better. Edmonton is like Sarnia, ON, just bigger in size, more population, harsher winter. Drivers are extremely SLOW in AB. I find Drivers are SLOW in Sarnia, Chatham, etc. Basically, all the losers from Toronto or Ontario move to Alberta. People with 4-8 adults living together still cant afford in Toronto. But these same people can afford a house in Edmonton. Nobody puts salt on roads in Edmonton. Edmonton is full of lazy useless people. Edmonton has cheapest homes and so many still csnt afford a house in Edmonton. LOL. City is full of homeless camps and now Government wants to use taxpayers money to provide housing, shelter and food to these useless drug addicts. Dogs roam free offleash everywhere. Alberta has mostly White majority. White people are the biggest thugs there. They break laws wherever they can. If youre a high school drop out white man from Sarnia who prefers dogs over spouse and kids, Edmonton is great for you. A lot of lazy useless Blacks from Toronto moved to Edmonton. LOL. Lots of filipinos and Arabs who couldnt afford Toronto moved there.
Oops Victoria is the capital. Enjoyed your video guys. I was just in Vancouver and there is so much to love about all the interesting neighbourhoods and the waterfront. Edmonton has always been home and you are so right about the long summer days and sunny freezing cold winter days and so many festivals even in the winter.
Toronto is better city for everything. Even cities surrounded by toronto are better. But yea if someone is looking to buy nice big new house with stress free easy payments thn edmonton is great choice. Even to cut down monthly expenses which is ridiculously high in Toronto. If someone is struggling to manage finances in Toronto, don’t think twice and move to Edmonton. Life will be easy and more money in your bank will make you feel good too 😎😎
