Hey Konter, great video! can I suggest for future guide videos that you use one of those addons that show what abilities you are casting in which sequence? most streamers use TrufiGCD but there are plenty of other addons or weakauras that can do it, would be very helpful for the viewers
This weeks lockout I'm gonna be trying slam spec with Focused rage, Flagellation, Consumed by Rage, Endless Rage. Build rage to 80, line up Berserker Rage and Bloodrage with slam spams. Just 7 straight cheap slams in a row with 30% damage increase. Auto back to 80 or hope for WF procs. Getting 10% from Consumed by Rage, 20% from Flag, 20% from Death Wish. Cheap slams. Excited to see how it goes.
sounds nice! if you get lucky with wf, you can pretty mouch spam slam 4ever. usualy you would want to only spam cast slam in your BT and WW downtime, like: Auto-SLAM-BT Wait Auto-SLAM-WW Wait Auto-SLAM-BT Wait Auto-SLAM-SLAM-SLAM-WW Wait Auto-SLAM-BT and so on^^
In the guybrush sims 1h dual wield is simming around 950 dps with a maximum of 1100 while 2h is simming roughly 200 dps lower. If you can show me a simmed 2h build that has higher dps I'll be convinced but otherwise I'm going dw.
Hi! Any suggestion for warrior tank build for 1) dungeon leveling & 2) raids? I tried going 2h arms tanking but it was just so clunky. Deep prot was suprisingly smooth with Alpha buff from Sham (even with several adhd living flame mages in the group). Would DW Fury tanking be viable? Just looking for something to lower the amount of talent respects for tanking & farming
Deep prot is nice for the traditional idea of tanking. but if you want to be dangerous, you go arms with sweeping strikes and just be a body in the front. www.wowhead.com/classic/de/talent-calc/warrior/053053013405100001_156m966nj76vx86m8a6mc you just charge in and try to create as mouch carnage as possible the better you are, the more mobs you will have on you. but its enough to have like 2 or 3. if your mages pull threat let them deal with it, you are just there to inflict pain, not to run around and be their babysitter. now the phase starts where you will have the heavy armored characters just split aggro on trash mobs and just dmg them down. you will not need a real tank untill lvl ~55 in dungeons. if there is a boss that hurts, put on a shield.
sorry for the noob quesiton here, but if you're doing this, i got the epic 2h, should you use def stance atleast? or go battle and hope for the dmg to keep aggro xD? thanks!@@konter4323

@@pokerclaudio01in dungeon, use 2h for cleave, take all the rage runes+haste 2h legs. Best comp is to cleave especially with sod you wont have aggro on every mob just keep them off your back line. I sit battle stance for SS+Cleave+Sunder spam. Have a nice big pull mapped out with healer for AOE pull with retal and aoe shout. sometimes i thunderclap for instant snap threat but only go defensive stance for bosses for threat. If 3+ mobs I charge sunder main target then start cleave + SS spam. If boss you Sunder/Heroic strike spam + revenge.

Can you teach us something about how to deal with CC in pvp? Im somewhat new to the game and im having a hard time figuring out how to PvP in this game
They said the bleed will work in gnomer just not as effectively, love your vids man. Do you not think the instant slam rune will be good for arms with consumed by rage? I'm worried we will have too many buttons to spam with quickstrike, ms, ww, slam.
I think the nerfed version of consumed by rage is to weak. the 20% speed is just better you dont have many buttons actually You press MS - WW and then you have 2 empty globals. now you have ms ready again, but ww has 10 sec cd so you will have some room again, this is why the 6second cd slam is not enough
Any chance of an updated video with the new datamind runes and weapons of p2? im really undecided of what spec play on p2, waiting p3 (or4?) for dualspec and figure it out. Nice to see some ppl not talking perma bullshit on theorycrafting btw, keep it up !
thats good news yeah the new runes are very good you can create a very solid ABC (allways be casting) rotation with only heavy hitters. Sadly casting slam will not be a part of it, and instead it will be an instand, in my opinion this means that the spec has no flavour and could as well be anything else.
QS doesn't interrupt your auto attack. I just did a bfd and i was top dps by far on akumai, I couldn't even dump rage fast enough by mashing quick strikes as much as possible once i got over 80 rage lol with all the wf procs i was getting, literally couldnt dump rage fast enough. 300+ dps on phase 1 of akumai, 200+ dps throughout phase 2.
QS can... With wf/ws QS by itself can not. Sod dps is pure rng, because you have 10%crit and a good Chance to Miss/Dodge. How you minmax Rotation factors in about 7% of your dmg. Wich is stupid and why I stoped playing
I really like the video. However, I would say this leans more towards theorycrafting rather than beginner guide. Beginner guide maybe should be more focused on positioning, threat, and basic talent spec. Really good info though for long time players who aren’t super familiar with Warrior tanking.
What runes are you thinking to use while leveling in dungeons? Tanking with a 2h. I'am thinking to roll either: - Raging Blow / Quick Strikes / Consumed by rage; or - Blood Frenzy / Endless Rage / Frenzied Assault (If hungry to fuel Sweeping Strikes).
