Check my comments Some guys had a total disaster, because of not disconnecting the battery and extra caution with the fragile cable.. it’s better safe with battery off. It doesn’t mess with any of your settings.

Why not a m240i xdrive? I love the m2 though especially in that colour!! Great car! I have a f31 330d, hybrid turbo 420+hp xdrive, which is wild! Hopefully one day will get a g80 m3 :D
For low dust pads there is another brand people on Bimmerpost have been putting on G80, 82 and 87's called iSweep. The main ones people are using are the 1500 and 2000's.
@@mrduke2471 I ordered early March got an allocation end of April for a week 23 (1st week of June) build. I ordered the MPHAS port installed so that will delay it a bit. The biggest unknown is how long I will wait for a boat out of Mexico. I'm in the northeast, hoping to have it sometime in July.
@@mrduke2471 Yeah, I love the G80. It's a 2021 Comp Isle of Man Green/Kyalami Orange but I really wanted to get a coupe this time around. Drove the G82 and G87 and fell in love with the G87 more, depsite the limited color choices and some options missing. I agree with you about the surround cameras. I am going to miss those. The story about airflow/cooling from BMW seems ridiculous to me. I just think it's a matter of keeping it far enough away from the G82 features so it doesn't pull sales away from that.
I feel you when it comes to BMW. I had brand new Denali Yukons and ultimate sierra’s. I traded in my 22 Sierra Denali ultimate for a 22 X5M competition and haven’t looked back. 👍👍👍
Hey i have the same car and i was in the dealership because of the Same Problem with the breaks. So there was the racedriver from bmw and he told me to drive 5 miles with like 150 kmh and break down hard to 100 and so on . Repaet that every 1 min and the quikking stop from now on. 👌👌👌👌
Most don’t understand that the M2 is by far the most fun to drive out of the current gen lineup…I’m glad I’m not the only one that feels this way…it’s hard to describe but for those that have driven the current ///M lineup…they understand immediately.
Facts bro, I was expecting the M3 n M4 to be way superior. They were awesome but they really wasn’t. I did love the many choices of exterior n interior options over the G87 tho..😩🤣🤣

This car blows away the new Supra buddy. The new Supra is an unfinish gimmick. This is a car that was build around function and to kill on the track. The Supra, not at all.
@GrindSultan The M2 comes in 96th and the Supra at 87th place in Car & Driver's best to worst times at Virginia International Raceway for the annually held "Lightning Lap". The same year Supra has a time of 2:55.6 vs the M2 with a time of 2:56.9. Sorry, but the M2 is too heavy and too numb on the track.

Congrats congrats! I actually no longer have the G20, I picked up an M2. But the Jb was working flawlessly as long as I had it. I’m pretty sure there’s a newer version by now.
I should have showed lol. But I put my left hand down on the aluminum M seal area n prop myself up. That’s only to protect the seat. Otherwise if you go in n out rubbing, eventually it will wear down.
@@mrduke2471 ok I think I can visualize it. Mine come in June and I am going with the all black theme and red breaks. Smoke out what I can and add more carbon. I’m letting my M2 competition go. I’m a little sad.
