So.... I am incredibly lucky to spend almost all of my working life with Australian cows and cow people, but, the real icing on my cow vet cake is that I am often accompanied by some of the best vet students in the world!
They asked me to set up a channel... so here it is!
Born in Wild Horse Colorado, Trained at Colorado State University, Practicing in Esperance Western Australia, I have dedicated my career to improving the profitability of Australian beef producers without sacrificing welfare outcomes.
Don’t see enough of these to warrant specialized gear I would guess. Side cutters seem to work well enough and are already in my kit for cutting fetotomy wire. Human docs, as you know, have to remove a lot of rings from swollen fingers, I would like to see their tool, I will google it! Cheers!
@@EnochtheCowVet I've cut off many rings. Generally it consists of front curved tongue that slides under the ring and then a hinged diamond wheel that descends and then engages the surface of the ring. Thanks for the explanation. I was curious.
Wow... it depresses me how you dare to teach something without any cleanliness at all. It doesn't matter that your technique is well-done if you are being filmed to show to your subscribers how to do things the wrong way. Where the fuck are your gloves? Do you know we carry Staph, E. coli and other bacteria in our hands? Incredible...
This is awesome!!! I wish you were in the US to teach but i have learned so much from watching your videos!! Finishing up my AA in the spring and off to the races
They are so beautiful! I reared about 5 of them in south west Victoria after a lot of farmers sold a lot of their stock due to drought 😢, they are such beautiful creatures, I had no idea how big they get! It got a bit scary going into the paddock with them when they were fully grown when they would see you, get excited, start throwing their heads around and start bolting towards you for cuddles with their massive heads rubbing up against you having no idea how big and strong they are, so many times I had to run for the fence and leap up like a bull rider at the rodeo, 😂😂😂😂

I love them! Eyes, eye lashes, ears, black nose and humps. Pretty! I bet if you dress up as a vet and put on a surgical mask...No One will figure out who you are!! You might win the prize for best costume! Hahaha 💜👍💜
