Yes the director of this show (now retired) was a master of costume design (and apparently puppetry too!). Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
I enjoyed this so much! My sister and I watched the whole thing many years ago and loved it. It still brings back wonderful memories. The girl who played Marion has a very beautiful voice! ❤ Everyone in it was wonderful! I remember that my sister and I both had crushes on the boy who played Harold. We used to swoon at the part where he punched the other guy. Same with the footbridge scene. 😂 He did an amazing job playing Harold. We were very big fans. We even watched the Cinderella play and the Susissical. We were so thrilled when we found out that the girl who played Cinderella was the sister of the guy who played Harold. 😅 Anyhow... Thanks for sharing this! Amazing job! ❤
Thanks for your kind words! Yes, a very talented cast attending a small arts magnet school. The director of all the shows you mentioned was a unicorn imho. Here is another example of the same play at the same school and same director, performed 7 years after this version, but all different cast. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n4dh5c1E2ek.htmlsi=rqo3q7NU5Cee5JnR Thanks for stopping by and for your comment.
Yes. The same school, same director. Probably many of the same costumes and set pieces too. Only the actors were different. Good catch! You may also be interested in a second version put on by a local community theater (bigger talent pool) that also featured Michael Luwoye as Horton. The director was the same in all three but this one was performed in the round. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bmCFuL7qGCk.html
If I understand your question correctly, this is the full version of Seussical. The Jr version doesn't have the scene with the general, along with other differences.
Welcome! Its great to be able to make this production of Seussical available for all to see. It seems many of you are involved with your own production of the play. Glad to see you here and thanks for watching. Please feel free to share your experiences about how much fun live theater can be. Hope you enjoy the show!
This was a great musical I’ve actually performed it myself I was Horton the elephant but I can feel the pain backstage in the heat because it’s gonna be really hot with all that make up and costume
I remember Jerry Dean, Tony "the tiger" Taylor and there was another personality that I worked with at Q107 in Florence around '04 but I can't remember his name.
@@posterboyzmaybe,if that’s in Canada. It’s been almost 20 years. The only reason I know the year is I did the math, knowing the age I was in grade 4 (8) and back tracking. I’ve got no idea where I saw this.
