His biggest mistake was talking about his gambling with that nasty freak Howard stern so early on in his career. He used it to put Norm down from then on,
⚠️Why I LOVE 💕 the Dune version released in 1984?? My 1st LOVE honestly….as a teenager and still now. David Lynch is overly critical of his work on the original Dune movie . ❤It does NOT matter how many horrible things some people say about the original Dune. I still love the 1984 Dune movie and the 2003 “Children of Dune” 3 part television miniseries. A bigger budget remake film and costly special effects does not mean better in my mind. The original version of 1984 peeked my interest as a teenager to read the books written by Frank Herbert. Every one is entitled to their own opinion. I don’t need to convince anyone about which version is better. I am confident to like what I like and that’s that. Period ‼️❤❤
Bro i wanna know where you from coz i see some Indian content on your channel and if you're Indian its pretty exciting to see people appreciate norms humor
Ok, I don't get about the vitriol against Chibnell and Whitaker. See I was around during the original run of the series. I saw The Web Planet, I saw the Keys of Marinus and The Chase. That was the first Doctor. And I saw every incarnation since. Does anyone else realize WHY Doctor Who is so unique? Even when the actor nails the role there are some god-awful episodes and some great ones. David Tenant is considered brilliant but not every episode of his was great. Same with Smith. I noticed some people feel Capaldi wasn't as good but have you seen his Zygon Speech or him alone in that 'castle?' I liked Demons of the Punjab and Rosa, I thought they were really good. And the Recon Dalek was probably one of the best uses of the Daleks in ages. Doctor Who works because it doesn't work. You know every episode is a bloody gamble. No one thought Flatline would be good and it was probably one of the most horrifying villains in ages. Back in the Second Doctor's run everyone wanted to resee Tomb of the Cybermen and no one cared about the Enemy of the World. Then both episodes come to light and opinions change. I think Chibnell made some awful episodes, (the followup to the Recon was bad though I found it sucked less due to acting and more because the music made it impossible to hear anyone talking,) but Moffat did crap too, and Davies, and going back Verity had some terrible pieces as well. That's the name of the game with this show. Because it can potentially go anywhere it sucks as often as it succeeds. But claiming the series is dead is exactly what everyone claimed when Colin Baker took over. He had some horrible episodes but given the chance he shone. Just to put this whole thing in perspective, Caves of Androzani is seen as one of the best episodes and Twin Dilemma remains the worst, even though they came one after the other. The point isn't simply good and bad though, it's these episodes came out DECADES AGO. Doctor Who is fifty plus years old. If you think things suck now you didn't see stuff in the 70s, 60s and 80s. This show can suck and be brilliant. You can't have one attributes without the other. All you get that way is bland mediocrity.
Conon looks like he had so much fun with Norm around. After watching alot of comedians talk about Norm it really it sad to know how reclusive he was during his last years but I totally understand his reasoning to not want loved ones to see him so low.. society has this way of overlooking things until theyre gone. Sad part is i always knew of and enjoyed his tv shows ans movies but only found his stand up a few months before he passed. Couldn’t believe it when it happened, RIP Norm. Forever cemented in Comedy history. I really do think he was one of the greatest of all time. His vision and comedy style was just above the casual viewers head. His rewatch value is so high. Such a shame.
I think the premise of the Jaques de Gatineau sorry is actually based off of Norm himself, being someone who was a prodigy from a tiny little town in the middle of nowhere in Canada.
I so agree with all the comments of praise for this tribute! With one exception: I love, love, love the music you chose: music from a Master Composer to honor the Master Comedian. And you did a Master job with this tribute! Thank you so very much.
“Now it would be nice to have the money” immediately made me think of medical bills now as well as leaving money behind for his family Crazy how different a lot of what he said sounds now with the context of his cancer
@@whatimtalkingabout4093 it's just awesome to see nice discourse...but I have seen these clips over and over again..but the edit I must say I watched this like a new :)
Seems like he was never comfortable in the same place for too long, with money or his career and probably his relationships, it's so brave to be able to smash the rhythm of your life to pieces and start a new chapter. I loved this guy, keep them coming sport
He's not even a good improviser. Lazy, mush-mouthed jokes and punchlines for stoners. He was fired from SNL because all his punchlines were either Frank Stallone or crackwhore. Hero to the untalented, I guess.
