Thanks Daniela! At the risk of sounding pretentious, I thought the moonlight sonata, being a sombre piece as it is, would sort of juxtapose his absolutely hilarious moments. I admit I could have gone for a less darker version and the composition is such that the volume goes way too loud in the middle which if you compensate for, makes the whole song sound feeble. Also, you have to make these videos in that weird, depressing state and you just want to get that done with. Wow! This was like a therapy session for me. Thanks Pam!

@@whatimtalkingabout4093 - It’s also tough knowing that Norm would be wanting people to laugh not cry. But he would appreciate it as he did the last night on Letterman. Nice work for an under-rated comedian that I admittedly didn’t overstand when I was younger, but grew to absolutely love. I worked a terrible job about 4 years ago and I hated going in looking upset every day, being a manager and all. I spent every morning listening to either the “I’m not Norm” YT channel, or replays of the compilation of Norm and Dennis Miller, they put a smile on my face every morning for 4 some years, my wife always asking why I kept listening to the same bits over and over at 4am.

The music sucks! Norm was a happy dude. He wouldn't like this.

Crying and laughing, you and me both. By all the videos and comments out there, we aren't alone. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, or the last video I find, the second death, but they keep coming. Now wouldn't it be something if say a year from now Norm had planned another joke to be reveled. The posthumous punchline of "I didn't even know he was sick" shows he had the marbles to make it happen.

Oh wow. That is interesting. That happened to me too this same year with Trevor Moore. Never knew who has was until a month or so after he died. And he was pretty damn funny as well.

Better late than never. And at least we have videos of him to remember him by. It may not be ideal, but it's the next best thing.

I always thought that Norm was an incredibly handsome man. especially in his younger years...but he seemed not to care much about that...I think he could have used his looks to further pursue a Hollywood career--but comedy meant too much to him...and he meant so much to us!....thanks Norm, for having the courage to not mention your long fight against cancer...and you certainly did not look ill, even at the end. You handled your impending death better than most of us ever will handle ours.

That joke about the pumpkin head still kills me to this day. It might be the delivery as well as the actual joke, and Norm was a master at delivery. He could take a totally unfunny comment and have you laughing so hard you cry.

I really loved Norm like you and thought I'd make something spl to share my thoughts while in absolute shock and now after about 2 months, I feel like revisiting him again. So Im working on an another one and hope everyone likes that one as well.

I know what you mean. A thousand more videos added since his passing and a million more people appreciate him. Thank God we can visit with him anytime we want because of I'm not norm and buddyberry and the like. It's still sad though like that time the planes crashed into those buildings. I can't remember the date but it was a national tragedy.

I dunno I was in that state of shock and confusion as I am sure lot of fans were and I kinda couldn't put a standard compilation, as it were, of the bits that I liked of his... I had a bitter sweet feeling when I was watching his clips when he passed away so I thought I'd replicate that with something like this. I know sounds kinda pretentious and In retrospect, it was a bad call I guess. Not very successful... And yeah as it happens, you just really want to get that thing over with because it is a bit difficult if you grew up watching his stuff so there are some really obnoxious, annoying parts in the video coz of the music but hey, you live and learn. Now, actually I tried some videos with minimal to no music and I kinda like the serene, introspective feel of it in the newer videos with music just coming in and out. I know and at some places you're right. But u know its tricky with these things. U kinda don't wanna do it but still u feel u should. So what u end up with is a gist of what ur feeling but done with that 'lets quickly get this done with' coz u can't emotionally stay making it. I dunno, experiences may vary. But I've got another, probably better one about Norm coming soon. Hope u'll like that one.
