@@_coach_lillie hey Coach Lillie! Great question. So you can change the from square to circle in the camera settings. All you need to adjust is the Roundness settings. Feel free to DM me if you have any issues figuring it out. Welcome to the channel!
Hi Paul! I'm Vasylyna. I wanted to contact you with a collaboration opportunity that aligns perfectly with your RU-vid channel. What email can I write to you?
lets say I have a list of youtube study videos, books to go through before a specific date. i can allocate x hours per week and not more than y hours per day and want to devise a daily plan on how to achieve. is there any website or app which can help me doing this..Can sunsama track goal progress status, accountability and if I am not meeting daily targets, it should estimate the shift in deadline based on current completion status and daily growth plus it should tell me how much daily schedule needs to increase to catch the original deadline
Great question. First I love how detailed you are about the feature you want. I wish I could easily recommend a product, but currently I'm not aware of one that I would recommend off the bat for your particular use case. Sunsama does allow you to track hours spent on a project (aka channel) and has reporting on a weekly basis. One idea is you can use my Sunsama link to get a 30 day free trial to see if it's a good fit. You might want to also check out ClickUp as it does have some project based time estimate and time spent features. You can check out my video of it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HkMcph1d1vU.htmlfeature=shared Another one worth looking at could be Motion. Hope this helps! If you find a tool that does what you're looking for, let me know. Would love to check it out.
Thanks for the great review! I'm loving the Sunsama app, but as a student it's hard to manage with the $20 monthly fee. I hope they add some student discounts soon.
Thanks my friend! I 💯 agree. I started using Amazon Prime with their student discount. I’m still a member today. It looks like you’re not alone in this either: roadmap.sunsama.com/improvements/p/student-discount I was actually surprised that they don’t have a student discount already. Welcome to channel!
Question: Is there a way for me to invite people into another course that I am offering without giving them access to my main course? Thank you so much for providing such detailed information and step by step guidance!
Great question. They just released an option to sell one-time courses. I made a video about it here showing how to set it up: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gB7jaCS8u9U.html Is what you’re looking for or something else? Thank you and hope you are well. For your kind information, I am visit your RU-vid channel and found lots of workspaces that means need update perfectly. If you update these all areas then you can see a good result day today. I am a digital marketer and RU-vid expert. If you want I can help you update it because so far I have successfully completed a lot of orders.I see that been added SEO results in your videos are very low, and video views, like, comments, subscribers are very low.. After that, if you need any information or have any questions,, Waiting for your valuable feedback. Good luck
Currently in Mighty networks as a member - 2nd community I’ve been involved in- have another friend who used Circle - know another who uses heartbeat - there are so many questions - so for starters, at quest point do you have enough people to ‘morph’ over to a community - I am considering an online community - thanks for the 14 day free trial option- I have another set of friends who have made the decision today to move forward with SKOOL - enjoyed your video
Thanks for the kind words Vicki! I am familiar with Mighty Networks, but have never used it personally. How do you like it? I have helped build communities on Circle. It's a decent option with a lot of extra features. Personally I find Skool a lot easier to navigate and setup for beginners and offers a simpler and more streamlined user experience. That said, Circle does offer a unique set of features for those that need them. I love that you're looking at building a community. If you want to send me a DM on a social platform I would be happy to chat more about your unique situation. You can find me on most platforms @pauldittus I would definitely recommend having a monetization strategy in place. The number of people I believe depends on this. For example, if you have a high ticket coaching program at $2k/month, the number will be significantly lower than if you have a free or low cost ($20 or less/month) community. You can also test the waters by asking your current or potential members if this is something they would be interested in and at what price point they see it as being valuable. You don't have to necessarily go with what they say, but it could be valuable information for you to make decisions on. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to help!
As a professional video editor, I know storage is a huge deal. I got 2 NVMe SSDs and 3 SATA HDDs sitting in my desktop computer totaling in 2.5TB of NVMe storage and 25TB of HDD storage. My workflow usually is storing projects I am currently working on on my M.2 NVMe SSDs and later moving them to HDDs when I am done with them or barely need to change stuff in them because they are basically done. I went for the T7 2TB ssd to actually get footage I recorded on the shooting (I am also a professional camera operator/DP) over to my PC, but the SanDisk wouldve worked just as well. They are basically the same devices. Just grab the one that is currently cheaper or the one you find better looking. Keep in mind, when copying large amounts of files at once, the writing speed usually dramatically decreases once you have written files worth of 25% of the entire storages space. The reason behind this is that manufacturers usually only have 1/4th amount of the storage being SLC (single level cell) storage and write to that first. The longer time storage is usually TLC (triple level cell) storage, which is much more compact but also only 33% as fast as the SLC storage. When not currently using your SSD, it will automatically move the copied files from the SLC cache over to the TLC storage to then be able to copy stuff quickly again. Thats why it only really matters much, if you copy A LOT at once. If you have ever edited a video in 4K with multiple cameras recording in intra frame codec, you know that 500GB of footage are easily recorded, even when not recording in raw. But even for shootings with 1 camera you can also easily fill up 500GB or more, depending on what you are doing - but filling them in a day is no problemo even in Inter frame codecs with just 1 camera. 1TB may be enough for most of your shoots - just keep in mind that the 1TB version of either of these devices will get slow twice as fast compared to its 2TB counter part, because 1TB SSDs usually just have 250GB of the desirable very fast SLC storage, while 2TB ones usually have 500GB.
Thanks for sharing my friend! I love the detail and insights you provided. I recently haven't been recommending the SanDisk since I've heard that some creators have been having issues with the SSD fail. Hopefully they've fixed the issue. Keep up the good work my friend!

this dudes face is giddy when he talks about the samsung. he's clearly biased. I bet he has a samsung phone too. 4:40 yep i called it, samsung, look at his face lol he needs the T7 Shield
haha too funny. I am actually not a huge fan of Samsung phones. I prefer Google Pixel for Android. I am currently using an iPhone. For drives both were great when I reviewed them. However, recently due to issues I've heard from other people with Sandisk SSDs I recommend the Samsung over the Sandisk. Welcome to the channel fam my friend!
@@MichaelCraig414 which phone do you use? I know in past models the pixel had slightly slower fingerprint scanning, but I am not sure if it’s still slow on the newer models.
Absolutely! Happy to help. Kajabi is another solid option. Which platform do you like better? So far, I personally like how well integrated Skool has the community, classroom, gamification, and calendar together. I'm not as familiar with Kajabi from the admin side, but have used it as a user. Let me know if you have any questions.
Great in depth review Paul. Appreciate you breaking it down like this. Side question, what are the lights you are using in the background of your video??
Thanks Daniel! Appreciate the kind words. Great question. I currently am recommending the Samsung over the Sandisk due to people reporting issues with the Sandisk. Hopefully Sandisk will fix the issue, but until then the Samsung seems to be the safe bet. I personally never had an issue with Sandisk, but saw other people having issues. Did you lose data with a Sandisk personally?
@@pauldittus yes, I lost 15 years of graphic work yesterday. I’m thinking of purchasing the LaCie 2TB Rugged SSD PRO, but the sandisk has kind of made me be more reluctant towards SSDs.
@@tribeofwolves so sorry to hear. I’m guessing you already tried recovering the data on your SSD? The Lacie should be a solid option. Another one worth considering could be the Samsung Shield lineup. Another consideration is Backblaze backup. It’s not terribly expensive and allows you to backup your external drives attached to your computer.
Amazing, Viedo. There are so many features demonstrated in the video that I haven't used, so it seems I'm not fully utilizing this tool's capabilities. Thanks, Pual.
Thanks my friend! Unfortunately, right now there’s not really a way to have a subgroup with a paywall on Skool. What I’ve seen in other communities do is have a free and paid community. One funnels into the other. I would imagine as they keep building the platform they’ll provide better permissions. As of right now, it is somewhat limited. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@MickUnplugged you bet! Happy to help 👍 There are other community platforms that do have the feature that you’re talking about, but honestly I feel like Skool has a very unique following and offering. I’m guessing you’ve explored the alternatives a little already. I believe one of the biggest differences I’ve personally noticed is that I will more regularly go back to a Skool community vs the other platform. Very detailed tutorial. I bought with your affiliate link to show my support for more tutorials like this. Can you also do a tutorial on URL Scheme API? Also, do you or anyone reading this have any idea how to set Hotkeys to Hide Desktop Icons?
Thank you so much my friend! I appreciate the support and kind words. Oh that would be an interesting tutorial to make. I'll consider it. Is it for a particular use case or just in general? I don't know if Mac has a hotkey by default for hiding desktop icons. That said, there is a setting in Cleanshot X under General called "Desktop Icons: Hide while capturing." Is this what you're looking for? Are there any other software or tutorials you would be interested in seeing next? Welcome to the channel fam my friend!
@@pauldittus Just in general for the URL Scheme API for exposure on what its capable of doing from the surface. From here, we’ll have a head start to exploit the further potentials. I’m referring to the manual trigger under the menu icon. There is this Hide Desktop Icons on the dropdown list, but i couldn’t find where i can assign a hotkeys under the CleanShotX Hotkeys setting menu. Im thinking is there any workaround on this to assign the hotkey to it.
@@limtc3453 Nice! That makes sense. It is pretty amazing what you can do with URL schemes. Ahhh that makes sense. So you can set it in Settings --> Shortcuts --> General --> "Toggle Desktop Icons:" then select "Record shortcut". After that, you can set it to whatever shortcut you want (e.g. Shift + CMD + H). I might actually use that shortcut now 😊
@@limtc3453 my pleasure 😊👍 I feel like they should have named it the same as they have it in the menu options. Hide Desktop Icons is easier to understand than Toggle Desktop Icons. Enjoy 😊
I do talk a little bit about it around 9:39 - there might be mention of it sprinkled through. That said, I probably should have talked a little bit more about it. Do you have a particular question I can answer? Welcome to the channel fam!
as a software developer, I need much screen space I started with 2x24 inch displays, then bought 43 inches TV, then downsized to 40 inches, and now going to 48 inch + 24 inch old LCD display. Why? Just because I can keep messenger on 24 inch, then IDE + web browser, or another instance of IDE next to the first one, or just one IDE with 2-3 vertical tabs with source code. It's soo much more convenient! But, of course, everything depends on what kind of job you have :)
@@pauldittus I think that if an user is not a gamer and the primary usage scenario is to work with information - then there is not much difference in terms of picture quality (or at least I can't recognize it). So replacing not-so-big pc display with huge TV panel, in my case, is not a bad idea. Huge screen in front of me at 2+ feets - why not? I just imagine that I am looking at an array of 20 or 24 inches 4 LCD displays - nothing can stop me to give a glance at one area or another. Picture quality on huge TV panels does not degrade at 45 degrees - or, once more, I don't see it. So my suggestion to folk who work with lots of information (and occasional gaming) - do not care about display kind. Whether it's a TV or PC display - everything will work.
@@Palazkov That makes sense. I would love to see a study on productivity and monitor screen size. I've looked into it, but most research is outdated and could be more detailed.
It’s a great option. All of the ASUS routers I tested were great. The only thing to know is if you planned to install custom Merlin firmware I don’t believe it’s supported with the 82u. I don’t believe most people do this.
only Apple. Please mention that in the beginning, so that people don't waste their time. Even if it sounds like a nice product, it just is not there yet.
I get what you're saying, a mention of that would have been nice... But if wasted time is such a concern for you, why would you watch an entire video on software without first checking if it's available for you? Like unless a video outright states the platform support, it's the first thing i'm looking up before i continue watching. Not gonna spend my time watching content on something i cannot use.
Thank you for the feedback. I am always looking for ways to improve and will take this into consideration when making future videos. I am hopeful that eventually Arc Search will become available to more platforms, but at the moment like you said the Arc Search is only available for iOS. Welcome to the channel fam 😊
what I expected? A search engine with a better algorithm than page rank to better fit the modern web. What I got? Another generative ai powered piece of junk that passes the data you're searching for through a filter. 0/10
Can you even call it engine? i don't seem to find how to use this search without the app, if i want my search results to be summarized by ai i can just search bing, and google would probably also integrate theirs gemini into search
I hear you. It isn’t revolutionizing the algorithm for search ranking. I think it’s a better search experience. Google I believe does a decent job at providing the top results. The Arc Search has a unique value proposition as it will dive into the pages and extract the main information. I can get the overall idea in less time. I love that it’ll even look at the Reddit threads. The other bonus is that it still provides the source of the information so you can further explore and validate the information. It’s one of the best search experiences I’ve had so far.
@ky3ow Currently Arc Search is only available in app. They are planning to bring it to their browser soon. While it’s true that other platforms do provide summaries, I haven’t yet found one that provides a summary in a similar digestible format and linking out to the source and using sites like Reddit. Not perfect, but I’ve been impressed by the overall search experience so far.
I USE ARC on my mac . i love the stacks and spaces but its not better than google chrome honestly. but i love small companies so most of the buggy things i overlook and they do update quite often
I hear you Google Chrome is hard to beat. It’s the industry standard for browsers. Arc Search I think will be an awesome feature to add to the browser. Can’t wait until it’s integrated.
Great question @MaxFS - I actually don’t think it’s necessarily the better browser yet… I do believe it has potential due to its fast pace innovative team. That said, I still use Google Chrome with Arc.
Appreciate the review very helpful as I'm looking into different community platforms. Let's say I sell a course on Skool and I have a paid membership to be in my group, can only people that are members of my group buy my course?
Thanks so much for the kind words. This is where the simplicity of Skool could make it challenging. I don't believe there is a simple way to sell a course within a community yet. I do believe you can lock content and have it unlocked when someone makes a purchase on another platform, but this would either have to be automated through webhooks or Zapier. Someone recently asked a similar question here: www.skool.com/community/paid-course?p=7d7e69f6 What other platforms are you considering? Happy to answer any questions or suggest something based on your particular needs. Cheers!
The Full Focus Planner is good. The layout for daily pages is similar. I like that the Finisher's Journal uses dots for the notes area. I also appreciate the simplicity of the Finisher's Journal. @@pauldittus Thank you. I've been a Full Focus Planner user for YEARS, but I stumbled upon the Finisher's Journal through a Gabe Bult video. So I got curious. @@MrMarshEnglishClass I love the simplicity of the entire system. As you mentioned, there were pages that you didn't use in the Full Focus Planner.
