China is a strong and beautiful country, with rich and diverse culture, lands filled with abundant resources and a great populaton of diligent and capable people. these does not go without appreciation.. but none of it gives China or any country the right to violate/invade other's sovereign lands or waters. China doesnt need the SCS more than the smaller claimant states of ASEAN, it doesn't need Taiwan, Senkaku islands or aksai chin. China will hold out as it is right now for a thousand years. this is if China choose the humble and peaceful path. otherwise Pride and greed will consume not just China but also the whole world with it.

Unlike IMF and World Bank loans, Chinese helpp build infrastructure in Africa whle IMF and World Bank failed. If it postpones, those Kenya leaders should stop borrowing from IMF for nothing. Over decades IMF and World Bank has been the sole lender to all African countries and the rest of third-world countries. No Infrastructures built or any development in those countries. Secondly African leaders don't even create wealth and jobs for their own country populations. Blaming China is premature and unfair. Looking after their family, relatives and friends is what they are doing and neglecting those who put them in power struggling. That's why infrastructure like roads, railway roads are up to date. I'm just looking at the facts and telling the truth. African MPs, mostly once elected they start by getting into luxury and not delivering and serving their constituencies. Where's a sense of duty? That's moraly wrong. No wonder Africa is falling far behind in wealth creation projects, etc.🤔 Young people also needs to be honest and apply themselves, hands on and not pick and choose jobs. First of all during the ending part of US Vietnam war US flew their planes several miles into China via the China Vietnam border and Vietnam couldn't defend that border again US breaches so China decided to annex that part of the Vietnam border that's why the Vietnam China war about 1975. Good discussion. I do hope China extend the repayment timeline, but in truth each side has their own burden not transparent to casual viewer. May be it is as simple as a signal that China doesn't want to be taken advantage of to the West and the IMF. Still, I sure hope Kenya gets a break, but that will happen only if the US stays out and not use the opportunity to destabilize the situation further. As to the Niger pipeline, military (except in self defense) cannot be a solution. That said, while it's true China is behind so many infrastructure projects in Africa, no one put a gun to their's head when signing the contracts. OTOH, rebel groups must understand when they leverage these expensive investments through force of arms, there is great risk and any further negotiation with the China down the road.

China is a better deal than IMF, World Bank, EU and USA combined. Ruto should go back to China and dump IMF, WB, EU and USA. The proposed Nairobi-Mombasa Superhighway and Likoni Bridge should be given to China. Just go to China and see the new road marvels there. Chinese are fast and cost effective. USA and EU have no more ideas. Kenya is OK and we have already solved our problems which were started by IMF in the first place.
