James R. Yetman [1957-2014] R.I.P. I am deeply saddened by the terrible news of Jim's passing. Jim has shared his videos with me to embed at GEST Songs of Newfoundland and Labrador for several years now, and last week I informed him I had finally resolved the issues with his RU-vid account so it is once again back to the glorious collection it always was. I did not receive a reply from Jim, so started to worry that all his efforts to move his videos to a different host were taking their toll on him. As long as his RU-vid account remains active and I am able, I shall continue to maintain it in Jim's memory for his loving wife, Linda. Rest in peace, Jim. You earned your place in heaven. ~ Gery Deugaw, June 14, 2014. www.gestsongs.com/
This was an awesome song 🎶, as time pass with age going home 🏠 for Christmas 🎅. Now all parents are at golden gate and all kids grown up with own family’s now . Tks Frank still most beautiful song 🎶 that bring back remember of Christmas 🎄. 😊
Lo this song! Ever time i here it reminds me of Jesus who died on the cross and shed his sweet life's blood so we might be saved from hell. He died upon that old cross for us. He took the 39 stripes upon his back so we can be healed. He rose from the dead. He is sitting on the right hand of his Father . He is coming again ! Praise the Lord Jesus for his love.
I keep returning to this song over and over, it truly conveys exactly what we would want everyone to know about Labrador! A very fitting Public Anthem, worth singing whenever people of Labrador gather! Thank You!
Doing this for a school concert and it’s my favourite one out of the 4 I am doing The islander Heave away Ghost in the fog Out from st lenoards And a play called doctoring
Dad moved the family out in 1995. We got home for several years in a row and then it stopped in 1981. I did not get home until it was 1994 when I brought mom home for the last time and showed my wife from Ontario how wonderful Newfoundland.
