Um why do people act like this is Amazon ??? Did you know that in 2015 all of the parcel companies were sending in spys to see the no phone policy plus the TOT structure lmao. I was at Amazon for 10 years and got sexually harassed only for the company to tell me I was lying and the camera didn’t pick up anything! Not saying who’s the worst but I can tell you this, before the pandemic way before Amazon was making people piss in cans or bottles so they wouldn’t get TOT and a write up. Although it’s easy work eventually they wear you out. Saw people walk in and say fuck this and walk out with 5 minutes of entering the building. Seen people leave on tours, right in the middle ask to you the restroom and walk the Fuck out hahaha. My last 2 weeks with the company I moved different break rooms and didn’t work a minute . Just walked around and talked with people plus managers. The company took away so much and than when Bezos got divorced his ex wife Mackenzie took a shut ton from hourly. I knew plenty of parcel workers from various companies and they all said the same thing the work depending what facility code +dept inbound/outbound you are gonna either hate it or it might be exactly what you are looking for. But you work 10 hours every day even part time school employees, than on Amazon prime or peak -that can last up to 6 months at certain locations - it’s 12 or bust ( don’t let that 11.50 fool you, it’s 12) also it’s fun how they hand out 12/5s or sometimes they throw a sixth day. But I heard over my career at Amazon people from parcel company’s say the same thing ! It’s not hard it’s just muscle memory and repetitive while doing easy work. You walk and sweat a horse load and than if you make to many errors that can be a write up depending on how long you have been there. My favorite part was when they said they’ve never seen a place employ 80 year olds and watch them drop like flies! I’m currently working with a legal team to take action against the company for violating my Employment rights. Someone said it best Amazon will give anyone a job!
Been working at fedex for 2weeks and we put everything on the belt… just not smalls we put them in bens! Like the job but not the hrs I work 5 days a week and only make 9 hrs in the whole week!! I’m supposed to be doing 5pm to 9pm but we get done with the work in 2 hrs every day
As someone who's been at Ground for almost 5 months now, this job is not for everyone. Don't think you'll succeed by joining and be good at the job, I've seen so many new people come and go insanely fast, even the most developed minds and those with body builder like abilities don't last because the job can simply be too much for them, if not the constant influx of heavy boxes in a minute, then the way the job is being ran by the higher ups, they do not care how you do in the slighest, and will mostly just stand around when you struggle, will not coach you to succeed, if you can't click this job will never be "the job".
I been working as a fedex ground/air package handler at BWI airport for over 8 months now. You have to work all the separate positions in your area of the warehouse, (loader/unloader/splitter/scanner/stacker). The only thing that may be "hard work" on the line is being able to keep up with the fast pace of it. You can work as many shifts and hours as you want to. Definitely a good job with the ability to move up in the company faster then most other jobs.
So im in my 40s and out of shape lmao I haven't worked in two yrs from being a sahm I start orientation Sunday im so scared my body won't meet the demands.
I just finished my first week. Orientation was only the first day. My body is sore as hell. I have aches and pain all over. I ll try and toughen it out but I don’t know how much my body can handle
RANDOM GREATNESS apart from everything being sore, it’s still pretty good. Easy and makes the day go by fast, plus I’m making more there than at my other job
@@corym.m.3084 I work the midnight sort at the large hub and it's taking a toll on my physical and mental well being. I'm gone for 12 hours a day and work 9 of those hours for 5 days a week. I sleep through my days off and most of the time I have between going back to work. I'm honestly miserable, but the people I work with are nice.
My husband starts today with FedEx and someone told him that it was too hard but looking at this video and reading the comments I'm at ease. I believe that God is gonna bless my husband on this job
I’m a 36 year old Teacher Assistant in the day hours. I tried this for a week at night from 6pm to 11pm for extra money. definitely not worth it. Extremely hard work in terrible conditions. Not to lower your faith but this is the truth. I handed my card in today.
@rachel brown.... I'm married as well and have a family of my own... That's all you can do is pray and give it to God that he will help get through this job... I start next week on Monday November 9th. At the Richfield ohio location. I'm doing full-time. I think I will be ok. Im already eating healthy and working out everyday as well.
NewAlias It’s straight slavery. One reason they don’t allow phones or any devices in there. Don’t want you to record anything. Work conditions are horrible
@@adriantdas Damn i have orientation on friday but i'm sure they pay more than amazon which I just left because of corrupt management and bat shit crazy employees. What location did you work at?
I can vouch for you brodie. This job is way better than ups. You get more equipment, the truck is usually small but long so you won’t have to worry about a ladder or nun. And the checks look good. This job ain’t for everybody frl only people that like to workout a lot yfm? You gettin paid to workout
@@riverchy744 Bullshit, I'm working at FedEx ground right now as a 3'rd shift package handler, getting paid $19 standard and $22 from Friday 22:00 - Monday 10:00. Overtime is 1.5× pay between 40-50 hours and 2× pay with 50+ hours. It's the hardest job I've ever had in my life, but we're getting another raise in a week (unknown amount). Every paycheck is approximately $900 net and I only work five days a week. FedEx is hands down one of the toughest places to work on Earth. Concrete work, welding, construction and asphalt paving, are easier jobs than FedEx. It's my 4'th month working and my body screams to rest after anything more than 10 hours -- when in my previous jobs were 12 hour days. FedEx has a huge rate of employees who quit before a week of work, which is why they're increasing pay. *FedEx Package Handler (loading position)* Physical difficulty: 9/10 full-time; 8/10 part-time Pay: ~$18- $21 Mental difficulty: 6/10 Full-time hours: 40-60 (~50) Benefits/insurances: 6/10 Leniency: Strict Overall: The greatest place to work if you don't mind enduring horrible pain.
@@shell486 I just worked over the summer while I was out of school. I really enjoyed, FedEx is a good company to work for. The managers always made sure we were good. They bought breakfast sometimes and would gives us electrolyte filled popsicles whenever we were too hot.
@@leeannalynn55 Hey, I didn't ask for it. They just needed a splitter at the time and I started doing that and was really good so they kept me there. You could ask to be moved and see what they say? How you like it so far?
My back hurts the 2nd week 3rd week I fucked my wrist up due to me picking up a box from a weird angle next day my whole left arm felt so dead it was aching so bad whenever I clench my fist that shit hurts so bad man im still working only job i got for now till i go back to school due to covid
@@knowledgealize yes. They will put you in an easy section where you will not have to do most of the hard stuff. You will probably just have to scan boxes. So they can accommodate if you are pregnant
