I been working as a fedex ground/air package handler at BWI airport for over 8 months now. You have to work all the separate positions in your area of the warehouse, (loader/unloader/splitter/scanner/stacker). The only thing that may be "hard work" on the line is being able to keep up with the fast pace of it. You can work as many shifts and hours as you want to. Definitely a good job with the ability to move up in the company faster then most other jobs.
First day of work yesterday they put me on the load side alone. Had a lot of help from trainers and the people are very nice but if it doesn't get better soon I am bouncing.
Been working at fedex for 2weeks and we put everything on the belt… just not smalls we put them in bens! Like the job but not the hrs I work 5 days a week and only make 9 hrs in the whole week!! I’m supposed to be doing 5pm to 9pm but we get done with the work in 2 hrs every day
Daniel Hursey Yea but desperately looking for another job. This job is only ok if you like really like moving a lot and standing up. You gotta be quick when moving packages into the trucks. The pay range is usually around 140-180 if you working between 15-18 hrs. Some days they will cut ur hrs off “usually Wednesdays”. The pay terrible in my opinion
I can vouch for you brodie. This job is way better than ups. You get more equipment, the truck is usually small but long so you won’t have to worry about a ladder or nun. And the checks look good. This job ain’t for everybody frl only people that like to workout a lot yfm? You gettin paid to workout
@@shell486 I just worked over the summer while I was out of school. I really enjoyed, FedEx is a good company to work for. The managers always made sure we were good. They bought breakfast sometimes and would gives us electrolyte filled popsicles whenever we were too hot.
@@leeannalynn55 Hey, I didn't ask for it. They just needed a splitter at the time and I started doing that and was really good so they kept me there. You could ask to be moved and see what they say? How you like it so far?
NewAlias It’s straight slavery. One reason they don’t allow phones or any devices in there. Don’t want you to record anything. Work conditions are horrible
@@adriantdas Damn i have orientation on friday but i'm sure they pay more than amazon which I just left because of corrupt management and bat shit crazy employees. What location did you work at?
