After watching that new 'I Am a Stalker' show on Netflix and being reminded of just how little they do for stalking as a woman, i think I'd be even more curious to see how it's handled for a man. Someone on Nextdoor (i use it for selling items, don't judge me, lol) posted recently about her Ring doorbell catching her new male neighbor attempting three times to break into her house (apartments, so you can see him return to his own afterwards) and one of the times he succeeds. (Also, in one of the videos, he is clearly holding a gun ontop of the stack of crap hes carrying.) When she went to the police, they told her there was nothing they could do about it because "there has to be harm or clear intent TO harm," a prior restraining order, or it had to have happened at night. 🤯 So they turned her away and didn't file anything at all. Again, despite video, despite gun. Stay safe, friend. In times like these, the best thing to do is to simply Home Alone your whole house, lol.

I won't buy any electric until NIO has enough battery swap stations in Sweden. Their cars are the best you can find and you have the option to lease the battery (so no degradation in resell price).

Actually SwiftKey wasn't made by Microsoft, I had it prior to them buying the company. It's what I'm using now. It was later bought by micrisoft and they made a few changes right away that actually made it slightly worse...

I work as an IT contractor for an US megacorp, I'm nearshore, I make a very good living if considered the median salary here in my country. Today I feel the golden handcuffs, it is far from what a FAANG engineer earns in US, but it is adapted to my reality, I have nothing against my employer, I think they have been honest with me, but after 14 years in the IT/SWE world I don't know, I'm having yet another crisis, I don't like what I do, don't hate it either, but don't like it, and I don't know where I'm heading to and what should I do, it seems that I'm never at peace with my job and career.

Oh my Lord, I'm looking into your microG API. Spent last three months of my life in vain trying to do something very trivial (print latitude and longitude) in Android API. I'm still no closer due to broken dependencies, unresolved version conflicts, and bugs in the API. I'm so frustrated. I'm going to try and switch to your system. This is MUCH needed, not only from privacy perspective but ALSO from development perspective. How can such a big company, recruit such poor talent... I think it's intentional to create these Android API issues, I cannot imagine the programmers would be that bad at Google. Android API documentation leaves SO much to be desired, I figured I'll just look at their source code to figure out how to program with their API, and YEAH, it's locked down... Android API is DEFINATLEY NOT open source as so many people say. I have NO clue how ANYBODY can write code to interface with Android API.
