yo fuck yeah! i got back surgery forever ago and went thru a long recovery process - finally getting the courage to do weightlifting again & it is addicting. you did this seemingly so effortlessly - good job! before the surgery i tried to squat 300 and was happy at getting it 2 inches off the ground haha
Soon as I get my insides fixed and they remove rhe abdominal adhesion making it feel likw their is razor blades in my intestines, I'm getting back to a 375 bench and 465 dead lift. At 35 Im too tired to get back to the 505 squat...
The only other people around were women. Last week I asked a woman to spot me and she looked at her friend like I was a rapist, then back at me and laughed without saying anything. I said nevermind and went on to lift without a spotter and didn't try for another rep. It isn't the first time that's happened either. I will take a 15 year old skinny guy over asking a woman to spot me ever again. Honestly understand why people want gender sorted gyms now. You don't need a lot of lifting force, they're putting maybe 20 lbs max of pull on the bar. When you fail you're not actually dead, You're 10 or 25 lbs of forge away from being able to get the bar all the way up. Even a mild pull with their finger will do the job.
@@rossmannkoigroup not denying that one bit, especially about women, im mostly just glad you got someone at all. i hope women dont wonder why a lot of guys are deciding to stay single. that kind of bullshit just isnt worth the hassle
It doesn't really matter who helps you spot (unless you're doing the men's competition level weightlifting I'm assuming). When someone spots you, they help take some of the weight off on that fail-rep: sorta imagine Louis doing 235x7 + 200x1.
