Perpendicular parking (I call it perp parking) requires even more profiling skills, with knowledge of typical driver type of vehicle types, typical solo or with passenger driving to judge which door to move closer to, forensics of door surface blemishes etc.. Parking - easy to learn, difficult to master. P.S.: Why is parking IN A SINGLE ROW called PARALLEL parking?? There are no parallels. It should be called "straight parking" or "(on/off) curb parking".
