Ayrton Senna’s sister Vivianne said that he commissioned a painting but it was never created because of his sudden death. His intention was a starting grid of who he considered to be the greatest F1 drivers of all time. He had Fangio at number 3 on the second row, himself at number 2 and Jim Clark on pole position. Fangio also considered Jimmy to be the greatest who ever lived. Enough said.
I remember when Seb won in Monza 2008 in a Toro Rosso and he stated “we don’t have the manpower of Mclaren or BMW,we won only 180 people and I’m one of them” I say it’s just amazing how many of these are able to function well despite where they’re on the grid
Having been part of another major event in Singapore that requires massive road closures, this is not true. The racetrack has been closed off as a "private event" and its not littering. I've heard a story of a fellow organizer being challenged by a certain agency after "littering" and he turned around and told them, this is private event, and the grounds that you are standing on at the moment is outside of your jurisdiction, there is a cleaning crew coming in a few hours, you however are trespassing, kindly remove yourselves from our event. Whether that story was true or not, it was badass.
It goes to show that F1 drivers back in the day were the best drivers. Cannot say that about F1 right now with Grosjean and Rosenqvist on the struggle bus in Indycar. They have become two different Titans in their own right
Yeah this is a little weird, I mean manually overriding the car ahead of you to pass cuz youre too slow? I mean, the reason drs is so good is because it’s just your car being changed, and there’s nothing the car ahead can do except defend at their own speed. But you getting to change another car is just not fair, a driver should only be allowed to control their car.
