"let me tell you why" you told us how it cost 21000, not why, what ia special about the parts and stuff, please put 21000 on your kids education, you clearly missed that part..
Good friend of mine was Canadian and went to the Olympics....Only it was in 1956. He did two track events, and the Road Race. Back then, he had to take a train, to Vancouver, and then a ship to Australia, for the games.
Hope fully some time away and a good debrief with team coaches and support staff will lend to some valuable lessons learned and even stronger progress in the future. Don't be afraid to acknowledge the post Olympic let down is very real and you need to be compassionate on yourself and others, even for those who attain their goals.
nick big congrats, not the results both men and women's team were hoping for but you all tried your best. I know you said that the internal and external factors aren't too relevant, but knowing some of the people involved in the Canadian track scene and some of the local riders that compete at the national level at our track here, it sounds like those factors are truly affecting some team dynamics and causing some unnecessary stress? Maybe not on the men's side so much but nothing happens in a vacuum. Anyways hope you all get some rest, recover from the physical and mental drain and crack on! Thanks for the insight, always love seeing content like this. Curious if you guys thought about swapping positions like the Aus Mens team did?
Thanks for being so open and honest. Hope you're having the peaceful and restful vacation you deserve. Be very proud of yourself and what you've accomplished - you're a two-time Olympian!
