Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre: 5572 Springdale Ave., Pleasanton, CA ShowBiz Pizza Time: 7590 Amador Valley Blvd., Dublin, CA The ShowBiz Pizza Time in Dublin, CA first opened for business on April 21, 1982 and was the very first ShowBiz Pizza Place store to open in said state. It closed in December 1985, likely due to SPP's cost-cutting measures following its merger with PTT. However, a Chuck E. Cheese's opened in this same city nine years later (at 7448 Amador Valley Blvd.), which is still open today.
I get annoyed when fans fight over whether SPP is better than CEC or whether CEC is better than SPP. Just shut it and enjoy the pizza robots, it's not one size fits all.
Just wondering if anyone here has any memories of this place? A friend of mine’s special interest is animatronics and specifically the Rock-Afire Explosion (they linked this video to me). They infodumped to me about it 2 days ago and I’ve become really interested and wanted to start researching it. Much thanks to anyone willing to share memories! ^.^
My mom and dad went to Showbiz a lot as kids! My family actually found a vhs of my uncles 11th birthday! (It was in 1986) my mom remembers the animatronics very well and Mitzi was her favorite! Also idk if your friend likes Chuck E. Cheese animatronics but my mom remembers the king Kat animatronic that was only in a few locations!
Can you add some new animatronics like add Mia the fox and me and the fox is going to be playing as playing is the cheerleader and she will have a gorgeous yellow and black golden dress and her voice is going to sound like a beautiful voice and also can he adding I love the duck she can sing she's going to be having a gorgeous voice as well and can you add them I'll take him play the drums it's going to be working he is a mouse that has a precious voice he has the sea shirt and has a picture of him and his sisters also add the Puppeteer the puppeteers apron the wolf and well kind of a puppeteer he gives people puppets so they can play with the puppets and the puppet show
