I worked for Showbiz in Macon GA. And the Band was my responsibility. I think it was in the mid 80's. I truly loved that job.

OMG!!! I remember being a kid and going to Showbiz Pizza like every other weekend. When I visited their website and saw there pics I was totally freaked out. But CEC will never take away those wonderful childhood memories!

Wow! This brings back memories. I used to go to Showbiz Pizza quite often as a kid including having at least one of my birthday parties there. Seeing this really feels nostalgic. I remember it was eventually either replaced by or changed into Chuck E Cheese's.

I can still taste the cheap pizza sauce. I had pictures of the entire Rock-A-Fire Explosion band in my baby book. (I was born in 1981.). The location I went to was changed into a Chuck E. Cheese's (as were most Showbiz Pizzas) in the early/mid '90s; it's still around.

I vaguely remember Showbiz because I was so little when it became Chuck E. Cheese. I remember Billy Bob.

Everyone, remember that there are younger people who did not know about Showbiz or Rock afire explosion. In different countries they might not have chuck e cheeses. Fnaf links Showbiz and the new generation together. I'm a 00s kid so I have never seen it but, it is amazing. Don't make fun of the kids who come and say "This is real Fnaf", educate them. Thanks.

My town used to have Showbiz Pizza, but the title was under Billy Bob's Pizza & Skating. I remembered having my Birthday Party there and it was amazing, I even remembered that their Pizza was better than Chuck E. Cheese, though I prefer Pizza Hut pizza better. Sadly, it turned into a Flea Market and it was at the time when Chuck E. Cheese was build. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Chuck E. Cheese, but I still don't like how crowded that place is, and it's not the same without the Rock-afire Explosion band. And I really love how people post FNAF comments on here. ROFL!

I never even knew of this place as a child, though I distinctly recall CEC and all their animatronics. I wish I had been around for this place though, despite the bear and mouse(?) cheerleader creeping me out like you wouldn't believe, that Gorilla is AWESOME. I just had to look further into him on your site, and I was amazed at all the photos of behead the scenes stuff. Alot of hard work and love went into these characters, if only we could still apply that kind of care to stuff these days.

Like when Billy Bob sang “..you’re going to get a lot of presents, you’re going to get a spanking too..” the song was followed by a guy who came out dressed up as Billy Bob giving a spanking to the birthday kid, one spank per year old. 😂 We would all shout out the years one by one. 🥳 It was a cute and fun birthday tradition. Can you imagine if they did that today? People would be trying to sue for “abuse”, indecency or “sexual harassment”.. 😫 we live in a sad sad world..

Those things did scare me a bit as a kid - but I was a bit younger and only saw the Chuck E Cheese version. Also, I remember "the cheese factory" room being pretty scary to me as a little kid, but also really exciting and I missed it when they took it away.

To anyone who comes here and comments about FNAF: 1. This is not FNAF, this is real life! 2. If you're scared about they walking around the restaurant, they couldn't do this, since they were attached to the stage and they are maintained alive and moving because of a gallon of air attached to them, hided in the cortains, and even if they have the right schedule, they still would not be able to walk, because they're too heavy for it. They're not going anywhere. 3. They were not scary at all! They were very entertaining back then (and the pizza was great, too). 4. Even if I really like FNAF, it's pretty annoying commenting here about the game, ok? Have your thoughts about this, but keep it in your head if it's about FNAF. Just enjoy this, ok? Thanks

lol all the singing billybobs at 7 40 kind of crazy, looks corn ball now that we are older but we ate it up as kids, and the spaceship ride i loved that one as well as all the arcade games but the best was the driving games that they had at the fort wayne indiana showbiz that latter became a chucky cheeze, though on the same street about three miles down the road they did have a chucky cheezes for a few years , but I only went there about twice, and then there was tex ritter at southtown mall.

There is still a Showbiz Pizza place around? I still remember back in the '80s competition with Chucky E. Cheese's was fierce and seemed like they were losing the competition. Haven't seen one for years thinking they went out of business.

This place was here in Texas but, was known by another name. Fun Time Pizza. I miss this place so much, I had hoped to share my most precious childhood memory with my own kids but, they left us. There used to be a Showbiz in my town back in the 80s before it was converted to a Chuck E. Cheese. Granted I was born after Showbiz was converted, but a few of my friends said that Showbiz was here first. I feel like I missed a lot Also, obligatory Five Nights at Freddy's joke here.

These characters themselves a currently set up in abondoned building in Seattle WA. The building itself faces the street with windows, so everyone can see these machines staring back at them from a very large warehouse-like room with poor lighting...
