@@ShowbizPizzaAndCec same, i love CEC and RAE.

They both have their own merits. Back then, the CEC tapes were written with better jokes while the RAE tapes had both good music and animatronics. Personally, if they just joined the characters as separate shows in separate sides of the building instead of just reskinning all the RAE as CEC and kept the jokes, music and animatronics as the same quality as before (maybe rebuilding the CEC characters with better mechanics), then maybe it would make it all better. Then again, that’s just my opinion.

I remember one of my teachers who went to the Springfield IL PTT said the food taste like cardboard or plastic. From what I understand, the food quality for both establishments was improved by the time of the merger.

kermit kitty71 I don't think you heard correctly. They couldn't even remodel all the stores to Studio C's. It costed way too much to do so, there's no way they're all going away in April. Plus, what would they do with all the bots anyways? Are you sure they weren't talking about a specific store?

I mean if they're still passionate about it, they wouldn't have ever thought of the Dance Floor, which is already more boring than Studio C. Aaron Fechter himself would never ever think of that idea for the Rock afire Explosion.

MrBobTomato It was, but only when Rock-afire was playing. The overhead lights would dim at the start of the show just before the curtains opened up. The seating area was raised above the walkways and there were mini-lights built into the backs of the adjacent seats as well as lighted floor runners on the stairs. That's how it was at the Showbiz where I grew up. Others might have been different.

The kinds of music that the Rock Afire Explosion performed there at that time appealed teenagers of the early 80's since the Rock Afire Explosion was more on the rock and roll side compared to the kid friendly Chuck E Cheese Pizza Time Theater.

I love both equally! They are awesome, they both have good things about them. I like both their animatronics in different ways, Chuck E. Cheese cyberamics have this magic feel to them, but Showbiz animatronics has a cooler more realistic feel.

People usually prefer the Rock afire Explosion because they feel the RAE has better covers, better writing, better characters, and more advance animation. Which is also my case as well, I enjoy CEC(Mainly the old shows), but I still enjoy the Rock afire Explosion more, I find the RAE shows more fun and awesome than anything what CEC offers. So it has nothing to do with the RAE being scary( Which it isn't scary at all). You're just scared of animatronics who don't harm you at any fashion, which is embarrassing by the way. What also pisses me off is that you try to insult RAE fans by saying they prefer animatronics that are "scarier", which shows how disrespectful you are and how close-minded you are. Let us enjoy what we want! Why don't you go troll somewhere else!

What do you think I am 8? I LOVE animatronics... I just judged the cover of the book. And my mind is somewhere near the PTT era. I’m not as close minded as you think I am... not as I was before. I have some soft spots for the RAE but I’m more into the direction of PTT just for you to understand. @@glitzen05dood Chuck E. Cheese’s animatronics were more creepier in my opinion, especially that one Chuck E animatronic that had “small looking eyes”. Rock a fire looked more friendlier.

CEC is great and all. But Showbiz Pizza Place has the Rock afire Explosion, which is the best animatronic show of all time. And besides, the Rock afire Explosion would of still survived in Showbiz if it weren't for Showbiz screwing over Creative Engineering(Company who made the Rock afire Explosion shows). Also Showbiz bought and own the Chuck E Cheese characters since the mid-80's.

Are you stupid XD chuck e cheese came before showbiz they copied chuckecheese. The creator of showbiz singed a contract to open multiple chuckecheese pizza time theatre a around the world but during the construction of the first location he decided to steal the idea but change it up breaking the contract if anything showbiz is the ripoff but there both amazing so shut your mouth
