I have felting machine I bought when it first came out. I hardly ever used it. There was never any ideas like you have done. Thank you for showing how to do a design.
Wow, I was able to see my little threader hook, adjusted it slightly.... wasn't even sure if I had really done anything....but it worked! Thanks so much.
This is a brilliant video thank you, my machine is just chewing up my thread and snapping needles for fun. Do you have any ideas what it could be please 🙏
Thank goodness I found your video! I’m about to lose my mind putting that little spring back every time I change threads! I, going to try this tomorrow! THANK YOU!!!
Thank you so much for posting this! I was baffled about how to fix the spring in thread guide 6. I really really appreciate you taking the time to record this!
'Ive had a continuous issues with my pressure foot lever falling down and when move it up and down there's no pressure. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Or fighting up the lever that lifts bar up and down. It's feels lose. It has no snap to it like it use to brother se1900 will not embroidery or sew the bar won't even come down far enough to snap on sewing foot I know I should take it to a shop but no way I can afford it. There's only one shop in area and one person who can work on these.. there's 43 machines waiting. I have to pay 75 just to leave it then 8 to 10 week wait.. plus labor and parts . So I am trying to fix it myself
Every video I have seen on this foot is with hard, coarse fabrics, so it goes through without a hitch, because soft fabrics don't go through it - they jam or lose shape before they are stitched. I bought one and it is a nightmare for anything else.
Very useful. I am researching this for a sewing group. I wonder if that burr on the shuttle race (that holds the bobbin case) hook is caused by needle timing being off? I'd love to know. Many thanks on this excellent video!
That’s a small possibility but if that was the case there would probably be other indications in stitch quality. The burr could be caused by the needle position being set too close to the hook causing the hook to hit the needle constantly, which is an engineer adjustment. Most likely it’s a single occurrence where an event during embroidery or sewing caused the needle to bend when penetrating dense stitching or fabric and was hit by the hook. The event is usually a one off and deburring the hook stops the shredding, if the needle-to-hook clearance is out then a trained and trusted technician is advisable for the correct adjustment.
Thanks for this, I was able to use tiny tweezers to bend the hook so that it goes through the needle! I had been trying to push the hook back into it's original position and hadn't considered bending the tip of the hook
After watching your video I was able to fix my Brother INNOV-IS 2600. The fault was caused by a few bits of cotton stuck in between the pressure plates. 😁 Thank you.
❤❤❤❤Thank you so much I put on my glasses and got out a magnifying glass and voilà! It’s fixed! I haven’t been this pleased with myself in a long time . Your help has breathed fresh life into my machine and my hobby.
Thank you so much for your video and explanation...I have not been able to use the automatic needle threader on my sewing machine for about 3 years. I actually fixed it by taking your advice. The video you have is friendly.
Thanks so much for this easy-to-follow explanation! It really saved my day (and many minutes of fumbling when trying to thread the needle manually...) 👍🏼🤩
I am late to the party on this one....but, the spring above the needle threader on mine was not hooked to anything...so, I'm lost on 2here to hook it to.
After 2 days of sheer frustration, this video saved me from the big house around-the-bend! My bobbin case has damage where the needle has obviously impacted at some stage. New on on order...
Thank you so much for your video. It helped me determine that the thread take-up spring was moved to the other side of a partition in the machine after I removed some shredded thread from inside the machine. I moved the spring up and down as you suggested, and it popped back into place and My Brother Luminaire XP3 is working perfectly again. Many thanks for making this video.👏
