All apps compatible with Apple CarPlay can be used on the display. You just to need to connect an iPhone via USB and pair a headset via Bluetooth and you’ll be able to use the apps. BRP GO! is no longer used to mirror apps on the display, now it’s only Apple CarPlay with this new display. Music can also be changed while riding. The glovebox is not air conditioned. You can use either the speakers or headset to play your music. You can easily change the audio output on the display. Thanks for watching and the great questions!!

Android Auto is available on Honda motorcycles because it is offered on Honda vehicles. Can am is desperately trying to get Android Auto!

I don't think plugging it in is a big deal, I usually do that to charge it anyway but you are correct about the glare - especially since that looks like it is LCD.

Keep in mind this demonstration was on a prototype vehicle in a concrete building. I’m confident it will be awesome.

Sorry for your troubles. I don’t know of any problems with the speedometer. Your dealership should be on top of that!!!! As for Apple play, an update to the system, I was told, will be coming out soon.

Hi John, thank you for the comment. I just checked directly with Can-am. They are very aware of the situation with Apple play and working to get a resolution with Apple. As soon as they do, you will simply need to update to your system (done from anywhere - no need to bring it to the dealership). This should be resolved by April the latest. Hopefully sooner.

Purchase mine on Friday, dealer told me in a month about, but never told me that will not work on Android not happy to hear this.

@@chuckrochon1706 Until I saw the hang tag on mine that says in small print "Android auto is not yet available", I hadn't even heard AA was ever going to be supported. I'd only heard that CarPlay was going to be a feature. Hopefully you get it eventually.

Still no ACP update. Sick of hearing from Can-Am that it'll be ready "in the next two weeks" now for over a month. Now I'm hearing that it'll be Mid-April. At this point I have no confidence that it'll be released at all. Since these bikes were advertised as having ACP and they do not it's borderline fraud IMHO.

I'm confused, Meon.... are you blaming BRP? Also, as soon as it's available, BRP can push out an update. Same thing happened with Honda Goldwings.... they originally only had Apple, but added Android as soon as Google got their sh!t together.

@@mikeb8342 Yes , I'm blaming BRP. It isn't Google who is holding this up and here is why. What does it mean to be Android Auto certified? Google’s Android Auto certification program ensures that Android Auto-compatible devices and cars meet certain technical and functional requirements. To become certified, an Android Auto-compatible device or car must meet several conditions. These include having minimum screen resolutions and sizes, supporting certain audio and messaging standards, and providing a safe driving experience. Like I stated , I can get a Certifed Android Audio radio and put it in anything I want. BRP did not try or apply for certification. IF they would have then they would have started it in the promo , they didn't. That's why I said they would have been better off stating they are working on it . Yes , it can be added later in an update just like Honda did with the Goldwings.

Of course if I believed someone was outright lying to me, I wouldn't consider ever buying their products. @@RykerRydes yep but at 40,000$ you say I should hang in there. even speedometer does not work properly. False advertising I say. I can't ride because I cannot know the speed I am doing. So my the summer with my sea to sky doing nothing in my garage. Great you guys.

I believe it is for hands free safety, so you can voice control it without removing your hands from the handlebars. Plus you need a microphone to do so.

@RykerRydes I've made a similar plea in numerous other Spyder vids. I don't recall anyone from BRP responding. 🤷‍♂️ maybe someday...... hopefully by the time I'm FORCED off of two wheels by physical limitations. My wife just got a Ryker and LOVES it. Not quite enough for me.... I need a little more comfort (F3/RT level comfort).
