Wasn't something I felt like putting more time into, it worked alright but other things happened in life. Might get back into airsoft one day but for the foreseeable all my stuff's packed away in storage.
I have a gun ive been working on, its in my channel, but it doesnt have a fcu. I have a arduino nano i would like to try to make into a fcu, but i do not know how. Could you help at all?
It would be really cool to get a sub £100 or $ hpa, doesn’t have to be perfect high performance 1000% accurate thing, just something cheap to get people started. And not cost an arm & leg of course.
I just finished upgrading my MK23 as a DMR, amazing results. I use novritsch mags now with my STTI pistol. Shoots around 480FPS which is legally a DMR in my country. Stock cyma 303mm inner barrrel with a modified window for the bucking ( Modify x-range ) Custom dual TDC. and a little tweak on the hammer spring. Im really happy with it. I rrather use this rifle over my fully upgraded VSR.10 because of the semi auto. Only issues i have is a litle bit FPS inconsistency (around 20 FPS from lowest to highest)
I recently bought the jg bar 10 as my first airsoft gun and had loads of fun using it! I just wanted to thank you for your Reddit post about how to upgrade it as I would like to definitely increase its consistency.
Barrel length doesn't really affect much, just gas efficiency. It's shooting OK but has a lot more to give with better tuning. It's got a Genesis hop chamber now but not been able to test. Most of the shots are 40-60 metres (see other videos on my channel), but it'll float a BB out to 100+ m. Hopefully after some better tuning it'd be able to hit torso-sized targets at 80+ m pretty reliably, especially with HPA conversion.
Hey there i was wondering if i could get the Arduino Sketch for this? and the name of the app being used as i am trying to make a project similar to this.
Good tip. Sadly not used enough. Colleague of mine from the motorbike part of the company showed me this years ago. It is usually enough to just use some clear tubing and bend it so it's airtight and pull the syringe. 👍
Never got time to develop it more, not really into airsoft any more. Definitely has some promise as a system, maybe one day I'll get back into it haha!
It's capable of 550 fps with 0.20 g at the max pressure the valve can handle. It wasn't the most efficient engine though and liked to tear up hop buckings if it wasn't perfectly aligned. I rebuilt the SR-25 later with a small HPA tank in the stock and a Wolverine Reaper engine to get the most out of it. Got a video on that on the channel.
Hi, thanks for the comment! In short it's not going anywhere - I've not had time for airsoft stuff for a couple of years and don't see that changing for at least another couple. One day I'll pick this back up!
@@Snakebitey That's fair dude! If you do have the time, I would love a general guidance on what solenoids you recommend and how you set up your electromagnet gearbox :) Exploring the same type of things for my gel blaster :)
For the engine internals it was all custom machined nylon or aluminium parts. The solenoid is an AirTAC 3V110-06 with 12 Vdc coil, although a better one could be used. Arduino Nano runs the code, and triggers a simple MOSFET driver circuit for the solenoid's coil. Battery is some 3 cell LiPo. Gas source could be anything but in this video it's a 12 g CO2 bulb running through a Palmers Pursuit stabiliser.
@@KrampusMike Yes. It needed a small amount of material removing around the mag well, and a notch cutting for the lug at the back of the receiver, very easy stuff to do.
@@Snakebitey ok ! Thanks you ! I will probably try to find one of this stock. For the Silencer how did you adapt it ? Do you removed the original outer barrel or the suppressor come over it ?
Is this gun an electromagnet valve? I made before more than 20 years, too! Almost no gun is being made now. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1NMCEX0IWRc.html
Hey, great build! Regarding 2:35 the bolt not going completely to the end, wouldn't there be some leaking if the nozzle doesn't get fully into de ML bucking?
@@slavsterbater No problem! They're fantastic stock so have some fun with it before modding. The Genesis kit is expensive but really good and would probably be the first upgrade I'd go with
