Hope you read this and message back... just looking at getting my first proper sports car and the GT4 is currently top of my list. I've found one but till deposit is paid they are reluctant to let me have a proper drive test drive in it rather then a couple of miles up and down the road. My biggest concern is in York we have speed bumps everywhere the front splitter is replaceable I know but I don't want to be replacing it everyday if it smashes on every speed bump I go over. So how have you found speed bumps and what do you do to mitigate smashing the splitter on them? Bearing in mind my last real sports car was a Mitsubishi Evo 9 FQ400 which to be fair was ok over them I've never really driven anything properly low.
If you think it’s a daily, it’s not a daily. You CAN daily it and it will be fine (aka comfort levels and noise) But it doesn’t have nose lift like the gt3, so you will scrape it quite a lot. You’ve answered your own question tho, it’s cheap to replace - so it’s whether you’re bothered about replacing it often or just not caring and have a scuffed splitter all the time
@@MrHCars thanks for the reply... it won't be a daily essentially I'm fortunate enough to be looking at having this as a weekend / trip away toy. It may head to a track very occasionally maybe up-to twice a year but nice summer weekend blasts will be its main use. Think I'm looking at storage options just on the outskirts of York. I counted the speed bumps from the bypass to my house circa 2 miles and there is 19 speed bumps, some full width some central. I can cope with a scuffed splitter and then look at getting it replaced like once a year unless it gets really damaged. Any regrets getting yours? PS your videos kind of made my mind up to get one, M2 was another option but currently there are several driving around where im yet to see a GT4 in York
I wouldn’t worry about it so much, just enjoy it and replace it if you need. But yeah, it is lower than most cars. Loved every second of mine, so as advice on that front - do it!! And enjoy!
let's take price out of the equation. No matter what you feel it's not the same (braking, suspension) ... it's a apple and a orange comparrison. No GTS can claim it's almost a GT4. Throw in the Carbon Buckets and take the GT experience to another level.
Glad you and your dad enjoy this awesome vehicle! I have a ‘17 c43 as well, in brilliant blue with designo premium plus and night packages. It’s the perfect blend of practicality, luxury and fun.
The new GTS is a two seater following the sporting pedigree of the Cayman, hopefully the engine will keep moving forward until it becomes midship engine for better balance. 😊
The 100 hp and the fuel consumption doesn't justify the price difference of C63 tbh, nor the fact that is rear wheel drive where C43 is all wheel drive. C43 is better all rounder
Let’s leave the Nissan for the Uber drivers, we are enjoying the sound of the icon flat six BoxEngine from the craftsmanship of Stuttgart’s finest marque! 😂
It’s pretty mental isn’t it! 🤯 Every panel, metal, electronics - all manufactured , designed, built together that produces a car that is 99.99999999% reliable and works every time without any flaws.
Wow really? All the Porsches leaving the Porsche event all look the same? Do all the Porsches leaving the Porsche event happen to all - by some small chance - look like Porsches? I can't wrap my head around how miniscule the chances are.
F is still the best. Much prettier, twin halos, round dials, and actual buttons. And I honestly don't understand why people dislike the rear muffler. Personally I think it looks great and makes the rear look nice and low. The G......well, I think it stands for 'Geez what were they thinking'. Side profile looks kind of okay, but the front is not desirable at all, and the rear is a complete mess. I had high hopes for the G, but when it came out, first thing I did was hunt down a low milage M2C and I'm extremely chuffed with it. Good video.
I enjoyed this video? Watched quite a few AM Vantage V8's reviews now. Interesting what you say about fuel economy - put a lot a potential buyers off, to be sure, esp. when comparing to Porsche?!
