Hi! I'm Yisela, the gloved hands behind the channel :) I love doing restorations and particularly enjoy repairing and customizing vintage My Little Pony 🥰 (although I'm trying to include more content like dolls, Polly Pocket compacts, and action figures). My house may or may not look like a haunted toy hospital.

Your videos are amazing and very informative! Im about to begin my journey of restoring ponies and I have a question. When adding the peroxide to the pony, you covered the hair of the mane with some tape for protection, but then you removed the mane later. Why not remove the mane and then do the peroxide step? Just curious because im super new to all this. Thank you for these videos, you are awesome!

I have that compleat set! It's one of my favorites! It always makes me a little bit sad to see something this neglected and damaged. I'm glad you were able to restore some life to this beautiful little ring case.🥰 I'm really impressed with your Blender skills. That Piano alone! 😲 "If this is vintage, I am ancient." - I felt that in my soul!

I love this! ❤️ My cousin had the My Little ponies, not me. 1980s first generation she has or had, not sure. Remember having literally no interest in them because she had real horses the actual animal so, plastic vs. The live action version preferred the real life horses, 💩 and all. Best memory trying to teach myself to horseback ride on my own no saddle (come from a figure it out yourself fam) & off goes Thunder through a forest learning to dismount via tree branch. Be sure to fall loosely. Lessons My Little Pony plastic toys didn't offer. What I love is you do it for free, inspiring others, and uplift the other person who had a fond memory to something you refresh giving it a new "life" another chapter. That is what I love about this. It's a style of being a person to another person with consent & context, not exploitation, sharing skills together. Glad it popped up! God bless.

I’ve had a pony I’ve been trying to deflock forever. I was doing it with nothing more than a scraper and some sticker remover that didn’t work much as I didn’t want to damage her. It was so tedious I put it aside for later. “Later” ended up being years. Then I came across this video. She is completely deflocked and it was SO MUCH EASIER following your steps. Thank you thank you thank you for this!

FYI... When working with fur, faux or not, always trim the fur away from where you are sewing. This is especially important when you sew on binding, as it won't look all puffy. It is also easier to sew on a sewing machine, as the hair does not bind up the needle.

This is so sweet and incredible to watch! ☺️ I have a question about a ‘vintage’ toy. It’s also a little pony from the 1980’s that glows in the dark. Even after all this time, it Still glows! Any idea what sort of material they made it from? 😅

I’m not sure if this product is in the UK, but it’s called “CLR” (stands for calcium, lime, rust remover), and I wonder if it would be safe for using on the vinyl of ponies? It’s great for plumbing and tile, so I wonder if it would be okay on inorganic/synthetic materials. I can’t find the video I saw of the pink pony you posted with such severe rust stains from the metal tail washer than it had rusted through, but I think it might be worth looking into! I keep meaning to mention it whenever I see the mega rust videos, but it might be easier than the toothpaste removal!

I think you 3D model really well! But if you’re looking to learn Blender a little bit better, I’d recommend looking into the “Mirror Modifier” and “Array Modifier.” They are really easy to use and I think they would make 3D modeling a lot easier for you.

oh my I didn't know I needed this until I saw it. Result is beautiful. I am from the 80ies Germany and I should had a whole Box of these. They were amongst my favourite toys. I could not bring myself to give these away, neither do I feel good about keeping them as obviously the softeners they used in the plastic by them is rather harmfull :/ maybe I should dig them up and have a look. Mine have kept their hair mostly but I am afraid my mom put them in the basement and they might be moldy :(((

I had this one! I love this generation so much. Luckily, I live in Europe, so I was able to get quite a few when I was young. I'm so surprised they were only made for a year outside Europe :o I think it's so cool what you're doing for these toys, seeing your videos makes me really want to go and get them back, they're currently in a box at my grandparents' house. I need to find a place for them at home ✨

Ohh, I think these were some of the ones I had as a child, I was born in 95 (in europe). I specifically remember the little diamond eyes. I havent really thought they were my little ponies bc they are so different from gen 1 and the old series.

I don’t have much interest in repairing old toys but this was fascinating to watch. I subbed because you do this for your subscribers for free and I don’t know anyone else who would do that, you seem like a good person. A lot of people with toys in this condition are older people with a small income and couldnt afford to pay to get their toys fixed, so I’m sure it means a lot.

I looked it up: of course Hummelchen or Hummel means bumblebee (Hummelchen is a cute-zy nickname für Hummel, meaning "little bumblebee" or "cute bumblebee"). Hümmel is the name of a city and Hümmelchen is a smaller bagpipe instument and a little knive. Both words come from an old middle european word for "shorted" or "shortening". So a Hümmelchen is a shorter bagpipe or a shorter knive. BUT germans have the tendency to replace a, u or o with ä, ü or ö if adding the suffix -chen or -lein. So as an example the word for boy is Junge. A little boy could be a Jungchen or Junglein (but this one we don't use). But we would say Jüngelchen or Jünglein (but both words are used in a derogatory fashion nowadays, so don't call people "Jüngelchen" ^^). Same goes for coffee: Kaffee -> Käffchen. Or cat: Katze -> Kätzchen. But then... a Katzchen doesn't exist and a Kaffchen would be a humorous word for a small, boring village... Anymay: if you would say Hümmelchen, most people not familiar with the instrument or not from the region where this word is used for a short knive would automatically identify this word as Hummelchen - bumblebee.

My boyfriend paint miniatures with citadel acrylics and he always mix even them with a little bit of water. He uses a wet palette where you put the color on ”wet paper” to mix. I feel like different colors are a bit different. You might already know, he taught me when I painted some miniatures

That hair is a thing that I use for my cosplay wigs. If you search for braiding hair you will find a lot of versions. But you can turn your nylon hair into these with a hair crimper ( that iron with teeth) and a hair iron. Also, beautiful work my dear.

You are one person and you came up with something so brilliant Mattel should be embarrassed. They have teams of designers and can no longer come up with anything half as good. This looks like the old school Polly Pocket we all knew and loved. There’s so much detail, it’s just blows my mind.

My guess on your tattoo: the “Fast Forward” (FF) button you could find on all the 80’s technology of the day: VHS and Betamax VCRs, Walkmans, etc. Did I win a pony? 😅🤩
