hey Kyle great video I wanted to ask you do you have any tips on decluttering my collection I feel like I have too much physical media that doesnt add value to my collection thank you
@@DinaM1992 Great question! I put everything that I think i would get rid of in one pile then I work my way through it and I always ask my self if I came across it for $1 would I buy it, do I get excited to own it in my collection, and would I be sad if I no longer owned it. I made a video on my channel talking about curating your collection that may also be helpful!
Hey I forgot to mention if ur comfortable sharing your email and I can send u the scream 6 code to your email I just don’t have instagram I just use Facebook
I have picked up quite a few releases for The Criterion Collection sale this go around. So far I have watched two of them. There are 2 more titles I'm debating on getting right now or not (Straw Dogs [Blu-ray] & Dead Man [Blu-ray]). 4Ks: After Hours Blood Simple (This was a first-time watch and it was good. 7.5 out of 10) Bound Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas Mean Streets Night of the Living Dead One False Move Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid Risky Business (Preorder) The Others The Roaring Twenties To Die For Blu-rays: La Bamba Miller's Crossing (Another first-time watch and I really enjoyed this one. I previously owned the regular Blu-ray but never got around to watching it. 8 out of 10)
Kyle, this is awesome, F For Fake is the only Criterion in this haul that I’ve ever heard of. I’m leaning a lot about Criterion on this journey you’re on.
I finally found scream 6 from a guy with the same name for 12 bucks I like to support small business rather the Walmart and I’m so so so so excited i finally got suspira for 20 bucks I’m so excited for it to come in hope I don’t set my expectations to high love the video !!
That’s a fabulous sc-fi VHS collection. You have several titles I haven’t seen and others like Voyage to the Prehistoric Planet that are so bad they’re good. Great stuff 👍
A Taxi Driver (2017). I just watched it and it’s instantly one of my favourite films. A triumph on every level I will also say Synecdoche New York which is such a powerful film and easily in my top 5 all-time
Great video :D You Americans are so lucky to get this amazing horror stand in wallmart! If there were a Wallmart in Iceland I would be broke...Thanks for sharing
Here’s a few great criterion collection films: 1. The executioner 2. Divorce Italian style 3. Red Desert 4. The fugitive kind 5. The Exterminating angel 6. Ugetsu 7. Cul-de-sac 8. Bigger than life 9. Hero 10. Day for night
Also I was mistaken, the 88 Films box set “The Flesh and Blood Show - The Horror Films of Pete Walker - DELUXE COLLECTOR'S EDITION” is still Available! It is a limited edition so eventually it will be out of print!
Solaris (1972?) is a good one from tarkovsky (I even liked the george clooney remake). I attempted a Bergman watch with "fanny & alexander" but about 1/2 way through I threw in the towel. I own Rebecca (1940), (and 99% of the hitchcock catalog) but I have to admit I didn't fully connect with it as a best picture winner, (lacking suspense?) deserves a re-watch, though. Under Capricorn (1949) is similar in style/story (kinda unusual period piece for him) and I think is a better film (but no one talks about it!). Haxan reminded me that "The Golem" (1920) was a great watch, but i don't think it's on criterion.....
