I might put 42nd Street in the top ten, rather than the top 1000. Possibly my favorite movie musical. If you like it, be sure to watch Footlight Parade as well-it’s from the same creative team, and is also an all-time classic.

Midnight Express is a fantastic movie, it's brutal but still good. Earthquake is an okay movie, if you the The Towering Inferno you are going to like this one too. A real ensemble movie with almost every single star in Hollywood playing in it. The Purple Rose of Cairo is good but New York Stories is a bit of a let down. Destination Moon is one of those 50's Scifi movies that are what they are realy. Barbosa is a surprisingly good movie. These are all my personall opion ofcourse.

NEW York Stories is great.The Coppola film is the weakest,but the Allen film Oedipus Wrecks is very funny and Life Lessons ,the Scorsese film,stars Rosanna Arquette and hss the same type of New York bohemian vibe as After Hours.
