I know this is an older video, but apparently God said I needed to see this. Listening to you talk about your depression and anxiety, shopping to get the high, then having just so much stuff and it just continuously spiraling….that nailed me to a T. This really REALLY helped me. Thank you for sharing. You just helped me out of a huge rut! I just can’t put into words how much this impacted me.❤❤❤❤
It feels like we are sisters! I have the same shopping habits, and feelings afterwards. I also have the guilty feelings. I just finished cleaning my area and used a lot of the same tips that you suggested. My biggest problems are saving bits and pieces thinking I will use them in another project sometime, and wanting to keep too much stuff at hand on my desk. The more stuff I have sitting on my desk the less creative I feel. So my solution was everything that I wanted to keep at hand on my desk, I instead put into my rolling cart. That way I can have it at hand, but it doesn’t have to take up space on my desk and quash my creativity.
I know this video was posted 5 months ago but I've just come across it. And I have to say it's like you've been looking in my house and my heart because I've gone through and still are going through everything you've talked about you're decluttering and organizing is very helpful so if you can do a part two and maybe a part 3 if needed I would love to see those. You are brave to be so open but this video was so good. It was realistic. I rewatched this twice , took notes, and intend to share this with my sister. I think every crafter goes through this multiple times. You asked about our craft space. I actually have three craft spaces and each one is in disarray. I have my work cutout for me. I craft in resin, fluid art and scrapbooking. You offered such practical tips and wonderful, heartfelt advice. Good luck with your continued efforts.
