“As long as people will shed the blood of innocent creatures there can be no peace, no liberty, no harmony between people. Slaughter and justice cannot dwell together.” ― Isaac Bashevis Singer People often say that humans have always eaten animals, as if this is a justification for continuing the practice. According to this logic, we should not try to prevent people from murdering other people, since this has also been done since the earliest of times. Isaac Bashevis Singer
Fascinating, the sheep scanning device is a bit like those scanners at the airport where you have to pass your luggage through. Just in this case, ewes, checking to see if there's anything "in the suitcase", aka, a little lamb in the making.
YES, YES PLEASE - More DOG CONTENT!!! Love seeing Border Collies work... I'm a dog trainer myself, and you're spot on with your explanation of why rewarding recall is so crucial.

Vous et vos beaux mecs traitez les agneaux avec le plus grand soin. J'ai accidentellement trouvé vos vidéos. J'ai aimé, je me suis abonné, j'ai enregistré, partagé et j'ai beaucoup appris sur votre mouton. Merci.
Great seeing your side of the video! I watched Dave's when you were shearing. Great to see both sides of the story and the repair of the trailer. Great job to the both of you!
Karol, I am wondering if the sheep are held off feed and water for a time prior to your arrival to shear and if that was the practice in Australia as well. Thanks.
Shearing in different countries is definitely not the same,(sheep types, venues, fields, sheds, pay, value of the wool, working conditions, weather, etc) but the people are all salt of the earth, nice people...
