I'm a romance girly and the problem with this movie is the writing. Will Gluck directed and wrote it so shouldn't be allowed near these movies anymore. Also Glenn Powell and Sydney Sweeney don't have any chemistry.

The director said in an interview that it was a sequel that wasn’t a sequel. They paid homage to the original but still made it different enough to be its own movie on its own sooo I liked it

this ep is kinda wild watching in 2020 because (I mean putting aside Euphoria), Zendaya came in fierce with Challengers, arguably her most mature presentation in a film? certainly the story was more mature. And then Zac Efron, after whatever happened to his jaw, suddenly looks extremely rugged and his boyish good looks kinda disappeared with how his face changed (tho I feel like some of it is slowly starting to come back as he loses all the muscle tone and weight from that wrestling movie he did)
