Torts has been my favourite NHL person for decades. More so than any player. He is real, he doesn't do BS, he does accountability. His values are in the right place. And he likes animals. That's more than enough for me.
As human beings on this journey there is goodness in each of us. The issue is when we disrespect another. To explain y thats an issue would b going to deep for most to get. There r rule sets we have outside of contemporary learning which affect our state of being and a lot hinges on how we treat our fellow man. I too like torts and clearly understand his goodness. Having said that when we are going at someone with low vibrational energy that affects our own energy in adverse ways. i wish i could speak to this more but trust me when i say, watch your reactions as they reduce the incredible power that u have and so many are unaware of. If you look at the NHL today compared to the past (60’s, 70’s) it’s very clear how much better the players r at not overreacting and that is the culture we need to adopt as it will evolve our journey in miraculous ways. Thanks for the video, it certainly is heartwarming!
I had the pleasure of meeting Guy when he coached Johnny in HS. We had a short conversation during the press luncheon before the HS championship games in 2010. He exuded class, along with a great sense of humor. He spoke like we were lifelong friends. My heart is broken for him and his family for what they have to endure. God bless anyone that takes the time to do anything that helps ease his pain.
A good defense will make almost any goalie look good. Bruins will be fine without Swayman. Bruins need more scoring help. Would use Swayman as a chip to get help in that area.
people allow the media and what not to describe torts. hes been literally a saint since he got to Philly. and alot of former players before this have said how much they love and respect him.
its a nice gesture of him but dont get shit twisted tortorella is not a amazing human being! he 100% plays sides on his own beliefs when it comes to what he allows players to do
1000% great.. I also liked it when he was on Vancouver and went to beat up the flames at their dressing room…..he may be hard but he stands up for what he believes..
The hockey community is strong. When one of our own is hurting or in need we band around them. People don't seem to realize that hockey is only 50 percent about actual on ice hockey. The other half us about the community and it's part of what makes hockey so unique that outsiders will never fully understand. Torts making us all proud by doing his part
Give him sorokin money. Whats worse is he knows how much we have to spend and swayman wants more than we have. So if we signed him for 10, we'd have to free up some csp space
Heres the deal with Timo: He immediately returned to form after he started playing under Travis Green. Assuming Kiefe knows how utilize Timo properly, im not concerned.
Lindy was playing him at left wing. He is a RW. Post all star break he had 34 points in 35 games. Like you said, once Green took over, he was a top 5 scorer in the NHL. Agreed, not worried about him. But we just keep him at his natural position.
@@michaelmignone5869 I would agree if he was more of an assist guy and not a goal scorer. If you shoot left from the left wing you have a low percentage shot. You have more net to shoot and a better angle if you are a righty on the left and vice versa. Timo has a good shot and just needs to get it to the net, which he couldn't as much as a left winger. If Ovechkin was a lefty playing left wing, he would probably have 200 less goals, being a righty opens him up to shoot.
He's proven over time that contrary to some tyrants, bullies & predator dickheads who should never set foot near a locker room ever again, he CARES. Human to human he's probably the best in the game. This is yet another fine example.
Yeah, we know you need the team caps, I want my Locker Room merch, man. That logo would look fuggin great on a baseball cap! I still have all of the original .AI files, so, let me know. I'll send them to you so you get that on some merch, brother.
Really nice gesture by Torts, sure he's a hardass but he's honest and up front. I'd much rather have him coaching my favourite team than some manipulative jerk like Babcock.
Babcock didn't do anything that Bowman (the best coach ever) didn't do...except Bowman did his before players, and especially players in Toronto all became a bunch of pussies!
I'm ticking at HondaCivic on the left on that chart, it was attempted once or twice in Montreal, did not work too well (albeit with very green youngsters to pair him with). He's the ideal pairing for very mobile guys like Nemec & Hughes though, he will provide the shutdown, the poise & control and the few necessary hits to be the safety net so they can go do their things with full freedom.
