Would it be bad idea to put a bunch of boardwipes in this deck? My play pattern would be like this: 1. anthem (optional) 2. boardwipe 3. x token spell / animate lands 4. Jetmir. So basically clear the path for an unexpected alpha strike. Also how good would Insurrection / Mob Rule be in this deck?
I absolutely love the board wipe into Sylvan Awakening finisher. It's brutal to play against as the opposing players. It's a solid win condition. With Insurrection / Mob Rule. I see where it could work in there too. I wouldn't go too heavy with that style. They're pretty expensive mana cost wise. But a one of in one of those cards will snag you a game win for sure!
Im making a Dethroi deck and before this video I thought about Solemnity but it works against all YOUR creature cards that add counters or rely on counters, not just your opponents. Not worth it. But I LOVE ❤️ everything else. A lil pricey for me but Im finding alt cards with same/similar affect at fraction of cost.
Sultai is my favorite three color and this deck is fire. I built unblockable tribal with enough counter buffs to the point where my homies told me to I build the deck

Did you end up upgrading this deck? My Urza deck started out as a casual'ish deck as well. I just had TONS of mana rocks and then a bunch of big mana spells like Memnarch, Eldrazis (Kozilek and Ulamog), Expropriate and Mindslaver. It was SO much fun...but as things go, I kept on upgrading it and now it's just a freaking beast lol. Absolutely nothing casual about it anymore. I'm wondering if the same has happened to you? Where you started off with going with a casual build with Urza, but fell so much in love with the deck that you kept improving it to the point where it became stupid haha :D
I just found out about this commander and I'm looking at going experience counter focused, more proliferate cards, which we've gotten a lot more of sense this came out, as well as having lots of other creatures that want you to have experience counters as well, stuff like Othari, things that can be a threat on their own in case Kel keeps getting taken out over and over.
I just feel like theft decks arnt very good... spending big mana to snatch a card that may not be very good. and DEFINITELY won't have any synergies with your deck. and the big pay off after all this is just a 3/3. kinda meh
